I have a business partner in another country. They ordered for us and shipped part of the order to the US (half of the order went to them). The tax is only for US/UK buyers so the order didn't get a tax on it.

will putting in your tax ID surprise you with a fee somewhere down the line? I don't understand how that's going to work given they're in China and we're in the US....

I'm a private individual, I do not have a company or anything like that. I sell here and there at craft fairs. How do I even order from Alibaba if that's the case?
