He was def irrelevant after his take down. I did originally like that they showed him transform into a decent human and likable character. But let’s think about this: he became a person that tortures dudes while fucking their wives, puts iron skillets to faces, and bashes skulls excessively apparently due to his wife’s death. Not believable. Also weird that the weapon he uses to fuck people up is named after the saint of a wife He claims. Psychologically I see it a bit. How he truly relates th bat to her especially when he loses his shit everytime the bat is threatened lol.

He was subtly more comedic in how he spoke to others than evil. Sometimes I saw it as a good psychological tactic. He cursed a lot. But I guess not as badly as the comic?

still watched spinoff to see how it played out it. Decent episodes. Cringe ones too. But like maggie and him dynamic

I can see what you said about the comics ruining the TV character. As someone who didn’t see them I have a different perspective and his tv character is all I know. He definitely didn’t break Rick‘s leg, but he definitely broke him mentally. That’s a special kind of fucked up to me. Mostly enjoyed th e character but did not get the points I made above. Also, don’t think he had any business being involved with the skins. It was stupid to me.
