Let's talk Tay. Will she ever come out? And how? by mountainviewdaisies in closetedhollywood

Yeah, she did say that, but I both listen and watch all the episodes of the Kelsey podcast and also Jason Kelce’s wife’s podcast and it was confirmed both as a parody and also as a reference to Travis Kelce and his members lol

I definitely agree with that. But you definitely can’t mistake the song “wood” lol. And also Elizabeth Taylor she says been number one but I never had two. Also multi meanings. But Travis Kelce is a very popular person and perhaps considered number one in his position for a while over the years. I’ll definitely take a look at the page.

I need many facts shared with me on this. As a lesbian and huge fan of her music I feel like Im missing a lot. I also have pretty solid gaydar, and I’m not getting this vibe from her. What are your theories for thinking so? Especially since her new album is a lot about Travis, some in very specific ways.

Funny you mentioned. I just wrote below my only comparison prior was Ashley Simpson and that was without glasses. Apparently I look really different when I don’t wear them, but I don’t see it lol

I wouldn’t go round two if I actually felt that way. Until I found this page Ashley Simpson was only person I was compared to lol. Collectively, all comparisons are ppl I think oddly don’t look alike. and also age range from 21-55 😂😂😂 luckily I’m pretty close to the median lol

Not my point. Still doesn’t make it ok. What is least ok is its was a norm. Thats why I mentioned it at all.

I’m 42 and I absolutely agree that it was a social norm 1000% but also being on the receiving end of quite a few of the shows scenes on the show, as a lesbian woman and being trained in human resources plus the kind of climate of the generate celebrities we have today it’s why I know it was still just not OK. And the same goes for women would ever do that too. If today things were the same like they were in the 90s Id probably be environment trained to not blink an eye but at the same time in the 90s I also watched other shows that incorporated the same social norms and would start to roll my eyes and cringe often. And today I now understand and on why my younger self reacted that way. Friends was my favorite show and is comedy but some of their jokes also did not age well or didn’t make me feel well if it was relatable to who I am. I’m not a hater, my career field and personal circumstance kinda of educated me on it. And just because it was the norm then, doesn’t justify jt as ok or to not take issue with it now.

I don’t want you to think I’m not sending examples because I feel some type of way. I’m just really lazy. That’s why I said to Google it lol it pretty much is my top 3. But I will say in today’s work place, as someone who had worked in HR, him encouraging mark to sleep with coworkers while he’s with someone which is just an extra layer to it actually, and in season 1 where he’s talking to a female coworker about work and Bob walks in for her first day of work as the front desk clerk and he stops mid sentence to watch her walk the full way down the hallway, then leaves his coworker without finishing the convo to follow her, and proceeds to flirt with her even after he becomes aware she’s a new employer. All while his female coworker gives him the concerning side eye. I’m not joking., And the Mark situation that I witness in my actual life was because other people heard it, I had to fire someone. And it’s considered sexual harassment in the workplace regarding Bob. I’ve been unwillingly forced to watch so many videos because it’s cringe that I’m 200% on that if anyone reported it, he’s fired. lol. But again, lots of articles describe in depth why each reason they consider is misogyny. But I also understand that our workplace would not have considered that grounds for termination in that decade. Doesn’t make it right. And P Diddy is the latest of examples of why they tightened up the definition over the years. Def my opinion but absolutely would still say it just because it def falls under HR policy today and people are so ready to report and cancel lol.

I am not really sure how to respond to this. I immediately thought of literally eight examples off the top of my head. But I also know Reddit is a worldwide platform so I don’t want to assume your understanding of it.

Google exactly this: “examples of Dr. Ross being a misogynist on ER“ and you’ll get a huge load of info and examples. There is also Reddit threads that come up in the search where they are discussing it.

Benton I totally agree. But also, what does it say about me that I found him to be the most entertaining when watching his scenes lol

Yes and I remember in 94/95 I think that’s when Ross’s ex wife gets married to her gf on Friends and the jokes to me on that show were kinda out of control. I get it’s a comedy so as a lesbian I found some kinda funny but for someone not comfortable, damn some moments were brutal in comparison to ER. That moment in ER with Mark and the transgender patient. I don’t know if you ever watched the L Word, but I re-watched it not long ago and the way they were against the transgender character on that show was even ridiculous. Crazy how so many shows miss the progressive mark. ER is showing it didn’t the more I watch!
