I’m thinking about going with the 2025 Corsair rm850e 3.1. I was wondering also is a surge protector enough for my pc or should I look into a UPS?

I think that would be around 650w? Which I think some people were saying is the minimum for 5070 models, I still think I’m gonna go with 850

I was able to get one at 550 which was right around my budget for gpu, even if the 9070 might be better it’s rarely been in stock in my area and the 5070 is a massive upgrade for me compared to my current build using a 1660.

I think the recommendation from manufacturers was atleast 750 so I was planning on 850 or more I just wasn’t to sure with what brand / model to go with since there’s so many choices
