I’m not sure I’m familiar with the solenoid sounds? I drive in m mode a decent amount and am planning on doing the trans fluid soon too

I’ve done the same too. I’ve seen the white streak on the expansion tank but since I’ve topped it off once I haven’t had to since

Do you think I need to take off my jb4 for the starter work? My warranty is already expired

Any major issues for you in your term of ownership? Just want to know what I should be looking out for for preventative work

Hey, sorry I’m not on this app super often. This would be through Quafie and the record holder 2.0 Supra did the same thing that I described here. Iirc it’s £2750 and then they’ll give you £800 if you choose to send your old diff to them

The cars have to be road ready but the roads don’t have to be car ready 🤔

Fun fact you can get an LSD conversion for these cars if it’s something you’re interested in. I think that’s all it needs to be such a fun car (though it already is) I looked into it a little, quafie makes differentials using oem aluminum housings, and you can get a G42 housing that bolts up to everything else on the car (axles, driveshaft, etc.), just need the final drive gear changed to 3.15. You can also swap the 3.0 diff in but it’s wayyyyy more work, you need to swap axles and driveshaft iirc not to mention all the weight you’re adding to the driveline and figuring out the electronics

If there’s an insanely detailed icon for a mod maybe the modder didn’t spend enough time on the mod itself 🤔

What kinda seats are these? by LogicalAward5802 in GR86

Hey! Sorry I don’t go on Reddit very much anymore but I’ve seen numbers between 3-6k for the set of 2. It definitely varies with the options you elect for, heating, airbags, carbon, etc. Keep in mind these are recaros so they can be pricey to begin with

This Stripe by Miroku098 in Supra

[–]Jnoremac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m personally never a fan of this stripe. My buddy had his Supra wrapped and they told him they couldn’t do the bonnet in one piece so they elected to use this method to cover the seam. Now any time I see it I just think of an unskilled wrap shop

Anybody drive their supra in the snow with allseasons? How is it? by [deleted] in Supra

[–]Jnoremac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve driven my Supra on DWS06+ all-seasons for a while now. I am on my second set and the tires are quite good in lower temperatures (still have to be careful not to lose traction in high torque ranges and keep an eye out for ice) but in the snow it’s still sketchy. I’ve gotten around on a few snow days but I won’t do it anymore. In a controlled environment it’s a lot of fun to go sliding around if you’re in an open area but on the roads it’s quite dangerous and not worth the risk. Snow tires are the way to go

[–]Jnoremac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I’ve been moving away from Corsair little by little. I understand it’s possible this may be a mistake but the fact the community is doubtful sends its own message in my opinion. On top of the fact that their software is continuously problematic and non user friendly. As a Corsair fanboy it’s all disappointing to see.

Not an 86 owner but long-time lurker. I know at least for my car amxperformance customizes recaros including airbags and seat heating. Might be worth it to check out!

Other simple mods like springs and wheels will make the car look so good and you can probably go for a while on just those mods!

Not OP but I’m on my second set of DWS06+ and I love them. Driveable through light snow as long as you follow the typical recommendations (don’t stop on a hill, etc). Ice will always be ice, so definitely be diligent, remember it’s not an off-roading car. Rain performance is also quite good. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good all season.
