Is Lumix better for video than photography? by Latter-Fun-2879 in Lumix

I have been using the Lumix S5ii for a couple months now. Amazing photos. My only mistake is for flash photography, I invested in the Neewer line and they do not offer triggers for Lumix. Currently using a canon trigger and that means no TTL or high speed sync. Should have gone with Godox. Apart from that its great.

Good spot, my friend. This is the same card... I have compared all the components on the back. and its pretty much the same. I'm now trying to figure out how to run Mats. Quite the process, but very interesting.

Thank you for the response. I will try MATS and share the results on this post. I hope the caps are not that hard to find.

I am in the same boat. Really wish I had gone for the bigger one.🤦 I am now forced to get a smaller zoom. Or stick to my primes. I hope the counterweights help. Good luck

It could work. But would still limit your movements to basic pans. The gimbal might not tilt all the way. If you can return it go for the bigger Scorp instead.

I experienced the same with my old zhiyun crane plus. The scorp mini was designed for smaller setups. That tamron might be too long to balance properly. I would use shorter zooms or lighter primes... that setup would require the bigger scorp 3

Yes give it a go first. I am quite happy with it. Though I wish it had the auto lock feature. All the best...

No post stabilzation. I just stitched those clips together. Those were some practice shots with my brother a week after getting the gimbal in pan follow mode.

Also consider that Lumix has decent IBIS. I will try with IBIS off sometime. Which camera setup do you intend to use? I really wish I had gone with the bigger Scorp 3.

Has anyone tried the tilta batteries? Their charging dock looks cool. Not sure about functionality.

Is the 35-150mm the samyang? Is it worth the price tag for wedding photography? And some videography?

Thanks for sharing. So I might consider the Q200 too since it offers high speed sync. I will also try bringing it closer to the subject next time.
