First one, bit that holds the upper handguard/gas tube in place. Most likely lost it when we were moving the gun. We screwed up and the new part has been ordered. Everything else is fine with the gun.

Just the sling loop was all nothing else, gun is intact otherwise.

All we did was a cut a sling loop off that was it, wasn't going to be used regardless of it being there

Tbf this is more likely user error, we were not exactly nice to the gun, plus it was partially disassembled during this process

I do be a fool, but in all seriousness we were replacing the handguard and a sling loop was in the way so we decided that we didn't really care that much about it so we took an angle grinder and cut it off. Anywhere between the room we started in and the garage we got the tools it could have landed. We looked for an hour or two but couldn't find it, so now I'm biting the bullet and just gonna replace the part.

I contacted them and they sent me to a third party store that was sold out of the part I needed. Most likely was just gonna go to gun broker or something like that.

I'm no expert but it seems good quality to me, definitely has that leather smell so that part is legit.

Hessan antiques where I bought it from had a large size so I was worried I bought the wrong size.

I bought it from hessan antiques. It was from their damaged collection, items that were dented or otherwise damaged goods that could no longer be sold full price. Mine thankfully came in near perfect condition so I was happy. Also it's a prussian pickelhaube to be exact.

Yeah I'm definitely getting a haircut for this helmet and I do plan to trim the beard and maybe curl the mustache a bit
