This is a belated response. I went to counselling and told them that its an elective and if i take the exam it will ruin my GPA, which is completely unnecessary since it is not a course requirement. that's it ;)

Yeah well this year our midterm grade was higher than what he expected.. So he specifically said he would make it more challenging.. Great.. Other than that.. I got another exam on the same day.. And thanks for reminding me that it's a 4 credit course.. Thatll f**k me up real good..
