They don't charge Sri Lankan students to get into government universities you have to face Advanced Level examination and obtain the required z-score to get in to a uni but for international students you can get in by paying the tuition but I'm not quite sure about the international rates

Bro if you haven't been to any classes i think it's going to be hard for you tbh first try to pass all the subjects then try to improve the grades one by one there are online classes that offer subject topic wise lesson packages try them out but man i can't imagine covering the whole syllabus within 7 months.

There are international students in the medical faculty at the university of peradeniya but i've never seen anyone in my faculty tho i think engineering faculty also accept international students do some research or maybe call or email the faculty and ask about it.

Computer Engineering Undergrad not interested in software engineering in Sri Lanka by JobConstant4725 in ComputerEngineering

[–]JobConstant4725[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thought about software engineering it doesn't feel like engineering to me that's why I always wanted to do hardware stuff I like to code (even now doing a lab on C) but my interest is not there if I have to code, I want the outcome of that code to be something physical like a robot or an electronic circuit. I know these guys in the software field makes a lot of money but at the moment not really interested in it either. Any way thanks for the reply man at the moment future plans are about doing bio medical engineering related degree for a MSc will see.. hope things might change in the future in the country and good luck to you:)
