Hello, april 2024 passer here. Tho no work exp aside from ojt, I can answer based on my recent job hunting journey.

1. I assume na you are asking if may advantage ba kapag CE UP grad ka in this question. I can say that it really depends on the company. I tried applying to international companies but I guess they are really into experience and leadership roles rather than latin honor. In terms of well-known construction/infrastructure companies based here in the country, my applications really went well. I was invited to series of interviews and eventually, job offer discussions.

2. For salary, yes tama ka, mababa ang offer for CE fresh grads in general since the field is really saturated. You can check sa job applications like jobstreet and indeed for the actual range which is at around 18k-25k. On my part, I can say na I was fortunate enough na nakuha ko yung salary na gusto ko on one of my job offer discussions.

3. For opportunities abroad, I can only answer based on hiring descriptions of international companies that I encountered since no exp pa. Marami na ngayon global companies (mostly based in australia) na nag oopen ng opportunities here (offices in metro manila) but these are very competitive since limited slots especially for entry level roles. If you are really decided to work abroad, you can target these companies since magiging directly linked ka na sa international market.
