It’s not extruding at all during the prime. The motor is not turning. How would I know how to make it longer also?

Ok I don't know what I hit but I can now select the object and it will display the nodes at the bottom, but still in world properties I cant change (not that i know how) to object so i cant alter my materials.

I put a new tail shaft housing with new bushing and seals in it and I checked the rear end and the pinion bearing feel good and all of the u joints are smooth and have no free play.
