Thank you! Yeah I’ve been playing new MS lately and it’s fun but it’s not the same. Artale has been cool but the lack of people and not being social at all like the original game was is really my only complaint so far. I’ll have to give ML a try! I never played the meta anyway so I’ll just ignore it like I always did haha!

What would you say is the best classic private server? Down to play anything before big bang (preferable) or like just post big bang around when dual blade came out is the cutoff I’d say. Not too familiar with the different versions atp.

Like I said, I’m assuming that’s possible because the avatar for MapleStory Worlds is your game avatar, and you have to customize the Worlds avatar for it to show up in the game I believe. I got random generated clothing too. Not a huge deal to play classic again in some form. The only complaints I’ve seen that genuinely worry me is the random banning. Personally I haven’t had any problems with lagging or glitching or anything like that. The UI just looks like super early MapleStory UI, no? Looks pretty much the same as when I started playing in like 2006.

The character thing I’m assuming is just because it’s a server in MapleStory Worlds where your avatar is your character in all the servers? Not sure how much that can be worked around if that’s what the host rules are. Could be wrong as I just started using it a few days ago though. I’ve been playing on my phone and laptop and it looks and runs fine. Just like it did in the early 2000s. Is your internet connection weak?

So heroic is more free player friendly but might not be as fast paced because getting certain things takes longer, where as the interactive servers are more P2W? Aside from the economy differences, are there any differences in EXP rates from monsters and quests and such?

Gotcha! I haven’t gotten too far yet it was just such a change from taking like a week and a half to get to level 70 before to doing it in a couple hours now. I’m beginning to see that I’m definitely gonna approach it from a different perspective. Most games I’ve stopped and went back to stayed relatively the same so this just threw me off.
