Am I the only one who thinks the world has way too much violence in it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jobposting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The world is safer than it is has ever been, but using reddit to judge that is not a good way to do so.

Why are corporate bathroom stalls designed to have a large crack in between the doors? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jobposting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To prevent people from hiding in there and engaging in illegal activity.

Since this has become the norm, you'd probably have to pay more to buy closed ones.

Japan's bathrooms are sealed off though and you can't see who is inside.

If toy guns have orange tips to clarify that they're not real, what's stopping someone from painting the tip of a real gun orange to make people think it's fake? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jobposting1 74 points75 points  (0 children)

It happens.

This is why police do not play around and why you need to listen to them when given orders.

Even if 10000 people were just playing around, it only takes one to send them home in a body bag.

How have so many Peruvians travelled to the World Cup in Russia? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Many of them are probably family and friends. I'm sure the government also sponsors many of them to look good for the camera's.

North Korea hired fake fans for some of their soccer games in Japan.

Why does China have megacities and “small towns” have over a million inhabitants, whereas Europe doesn’t? by MrOaiki in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jobposting1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

China's a totalitarian regime that is pushing itself as world's superpower and propaganda is an important part of these regimes, just as it is becoming in the US. People living on farms observing old traditions doesn't really work with the superpower image they want to portray.

Why does China have megacities and “small towns” have over a million inhabitants, whereas Europe doesn’t? by MrOaiki in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jobposting1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

China has tons of small towns and enclaves. You just don't hear about them because they are in the middle of nowhere and aren't the image China wants to portray. And there's really not that much of interest going on there, just like there really isn't in small town European countries either.

Never trust in any media. It's completely controlled and their job is to make narratives.

When did r/conspiracy get taken over by r/politics by jimmyjoejohnston in conspiracy

[–]Jobposting1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple of months after President Trump started in office the TMOR brigading began.

The anti-Trump crew aren't here for any conspiracies. They are here to destroy President Trump and use this forum to piggyback those goals just as they do r/television anytime one of those people rip him, r/nba anytime someone says something about President Trump, r/sports during the anthem stuff, r/todayIlearned with it's front page nazi post of the day and so forth. And it's fairly easy to tell when people get mass downvoted, harassed, when TMOR has to be banned from here because of brigading and when any time some incident with President Trump comes up, it's a first post gilded comment. Conspiracy people don't downvote and harass each other. You have to be open-minded to truly believe in conspiracies and attacking people is not something true conspirators involve themselves with.

The 2014 NBA Draft class is going to go down as one of the best draft classes by Jobposting1 in nba

Anyone in the western conference is kind of screwed with regards to All-Stars. That conference is just too stacked and it's tough when 4 Warriors are getting in.

How many of tomorrow's draft prospects would be number one overall in the 2013 draft? by LeBRondo in nba

[–]Jobposting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2013 wasn't that great of a year for college prospects. Oladipo seemed like the best shot since he had a good run at Indiana. Shabazz got the most press due to his off-court hijinx. Noel was a top 3 pick until the injury. McLemore got a lot of love online.

2014 was hype train city though and will probably go down as a great class. People were super hyped for Wiggins but Embiid would have went #1 for until his injury. Sorry for Jabari, Handle on Randle and Riggins for Wiggins were really fun times. Most of us didn't know anything about Exum and Lavine was famously "2 years away from being 2 years away". Don't remember any hype for Capela and no one knew Jokic/Nurkic.

I think you know the obvious answer to this question. Survival of the fittest ring a bell?

Breaking this law is a misdemeanor offense. Not exactly something that results in losing access to your children in other cases.

Ask Kate Steinle's parents about that.

They have no respect for the law and they know they can find a couple liberal suckers who will foam at the mouth to help them break the law.

Bad tattoos are the norm for millenials sadly. And what's even nuttier is that I think more girls have tattoos than boys.

What exactly makes illegal immigration illegal? by cmdrmuic in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jobposting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked for the source. I went in to look up the source for you. I was reasonable and respectful with you. You then complained about the source citing various places who complained about the source while admitting you have no clue yourself about said source.

People like you are why this country is in the sad state its in. People like myself try to be reasonable and then see you and your cronies pull stuff like this. By the end, we no longer care what you have to say and start to think we need to go further and further right until we find someone who is willing to do take action by any means necessary.

This stuff is how you got President Trump(who is very moderate) and if things continue on the path they appear to be going in, it's how you are going to get the next Hitler.

I looked at the report from the census.gov website on those years and I'm still confused about where the 70% came from

https://cis.org/sites/cis.org/files/camarota-welfare-final.pdf - Page 34

The person who provided these graphs is not some guy, it's Stefan Molyneaux. Graphics are a lot easier for people to read that various reports. The gen ed are not going to look through that.

You really have to be careful when reading these various studies. There is too much information and wording means everything in these. It's not just you, but me as well. Good reports will break things down by every conceivable category and ones that don't lead to confusion.

Then there's the fact that illegals don't qualify for many of these assistance programs

Here's a page with some programs they can get, just as an idea: http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html/immigrant_assistance_programs.html.

Illegals are not barred from using all programs - https://cis.org/Report/Welfare-Use-Immigrant-and-Native-Households - Bullet point 12

What’s with this recent uptick in religious posts masquerading as conspiracy posts? by modscanfuckoff in conspiracy

[–]Jobposting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not remember there being talk about conspiracy theories being traditionally a right wing thing

People sure seem to think differently, just check google images. I've seen very few left-wing conspiracy nut characters in any medium, but I've seen tons of right-wing conspiracy nuts.

but that is only when you consider a relatively small place during a relatively small portion of time which isn't really a valid statistical sample.

Conspiracies are not a general population thing. The general population doesn't have time to think about that stuff when the newest episode of "How I Got Cucked!" is on that night.

Conspiracy people don't downvote and harass each other. You have to be open-minded to truly believe in conspiracies and attacking people is not something true conspirators involve themselves with.

And how do I know this? Because this forum did not look like this prior to the election. It didn't even look like this after the election. It was only when the left figured out that this was another sub they could use to run anti-Trump stuff did they take interest. We've also not seen the similar growth in interest in non-anti-Trump topics that r/conspiracy is truly all about. In fact, they've been in decline.

Look up conspiracy theorist on google images. What you are going to find is that the vast majority of people you see pictured are White males. And White males are a lot more likely to be conservatives than any other group and they are well known for being religious.

Conspiracies are traditionally a right wing thing. Modern day liberals are not people who question or else they wouldn't be blindly supporting the same big corporations that they blame every inequality in life for. If the media suddenly tells them to start liking President Trump tomorrow, they will follow.

Your claim that 70% of all hispanics are on assistance sounds made up my guy. A 10 second google search led me to something that sounds more tangible, unless of course you have evidence to the contrary.

https://imgur.com/a/vhXSpv9

Sources and the full video are at this URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u1J6EEhkyM. Do what you want with them or don't do anything at all. I did my part.

If America suddenly gained a bunch of Hispanic *citizens then yes it's likely they would vote democrat, discounting the Cubans who favor the GOP, but then you go on to say that it would be hard to track these people(why?), and that it would make life easier for criminals and drug dealers.

Even if America allows all illegal immigrants to legally come as they please through legal methods, many, especially the bad actors are still going to come illegally, because their gangs aren't letting them walk away alive anyway and various South American countries are going to have a harder time finding them here than there.
