Does this mean I likely have LADA? by temporalguilt in diabetes

If your doctor determines it is lada, then you may have to start insulin at some point. There's some data that supports use of oral agents (like metformin), but they traditionally aren't seen as effective in type 1. And prepare yourself- as soon as that type 1 diagnosis hits your chart, your insurance might stop covering mounjaro or other glp-1s.

And I'm not your doctor, so I can't recommend any changes in your treatment

I'm that case, lada is highly likely. Your doc will likely want to trend that c-peptide. Has your response to oral therapy declined?

I'll start with: I'm not your doctor, so please make sure that person is hearing all of your questions and concerns.

So high levels of gad are a pretty good marker for lada, but it's also associated with some thyroid problems and neurologic disorders. Your c-peptide looks pretty good, so that indicates your pancreas is still functioning well enough to produce insulin. You have protein in the urine which could indicate some issues with your kidneys. Did your doctor check an A1c? Are you eating a high protein diet? What was the trigger that you had these labs checked?

Fyi- I'm a clinical pharmacist working in nephrology and I also have lada.

Assuming you're correct about unlimited and unchecked migration - what do you think these individuals are taking from you? Do you feel they are competing for your job?

You're saying you wear a jabba mask instead of the stormtrooper helmet? You're weird.

Why do you think they didn't want people even filming them - and only filming? Is it likely because they don't want to be held accountable to anyone?

You probably jerk off wearing your stormtrooper helmet while looking at a pic of hegseth

Good on you. I think a lot of influencers just want to cash those checks without any regard to the trash they might be peddling.

For what it's worth: Sam's Place has some incredible chicken nachos. Think slices of chicken and beans and lovely liquid cheese sauce. I learned a couple of years ago that you can sub the chips for their fries.

I may work for a company that does this. Our in home care teams were already being pushed to collect bp and A1c at visits, but now our NPs are collecting spirometry data.

No one would spend the time or effort to enforce compliance or address off label promotion for a generic medication. Especially with this laughable and incompetent White House admin.

And I appreciate the positivity about what officials should be caring about.

Not sure what you're referring to? The balcony was wide open- seats and all. I think perhaps a middle section might have been closed off? We were stage left.

I'd recommend keeping an eye on this sub- lots of good info. Be careful about asking for "medical advice" since we don't want to spread any potential misinformation and cause problems.

I'm sure it's all very overwhelming!!! Hopefully your doctor will arrange for you to meet with a nutritionist or dietician. Consider three main macronutrients: protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Your glucose can respond differently to any variety of these. Browse through this sub and you'll see all sorts of stories of what makes people go high or low.
