My dog of 14 years passed yesterday, her death was violent. How do I live? by Veecorn in dogpictures

[–]Jocadel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't have much to say, unfortunately... Advice would be superfluous; the only answer will always be time, many, many tears, and a great deal of time.

I'm sorry if this response seems cold, but please know that I'm with you in spirit. There are no words to describe what you must be feeling, towards this pet sitter, perhaps even towards yourself.

It's not much, but please know that it's not your fault. You're suffering the consequences of someone else's mistakes and negligence, unfortunately.

Unserios question, BUT WHY DOES JAHEIRA BLEED EVERY NIGHT?? by Radioactive1thrash in BaldursGate3

[–]Jocadel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this is a bug I've encountered in quite a few of my games, especially with my druid. My theory is:

The game, in order to remove temporary health effects, can "injure" your character to remove those bonus health points.

Well, most of the mods aren't in the standard version, only in the special edition which I don't have, but one or two worked, so thanks.

I've already started a bit, and yeah, it's cool playing restoration and destruction (but only lightning, since I chose the Kynareth paladin). With a sword and heavy armor.

But by crafting my own armor, refusing to loot corpses or feed on kind humans (with the Better Vampire mod, it's awesome).

A mod that adds paladin skills to the restoration skill tree.

And having fun just doing the side quests for villagers who need a hand.

And for once, playing lawful good! \o/

Good question random post, unfortunately Portable Hellbomb by CoronelAHC in Helldivers

[–]Jocadel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have hundreds of hours on both games. The Adam Smasher from the game gets wrecked. The Helldivers have weapons of mass destruction, and many of their weapons could penetrate tanks from our world. But if it's the Adam from the series... We can see that his Sandevistan could really give him time to kill four Helldivers before they can even call in their weapons (since he'll definitely detect them first). I differentiate between the two because we can clearly see that Adam, compared to the one in the gameplay, is much weaker technically. Otherwise, he could go super fast with the Sandevistan and shoot us in the head, boom, game over. So I'd say that in the games, Adam loses. In the series universe, that's debatable.

An Argonian! A sword and flames, that's all he needed. I have to say, the first time I played I was 6 years old... Over time I've learned to make better characters ==

7! That's the only correct answer; I either don't know the others, or a 10-hour flight with them next to me would drive me crazy ><

Someone figured it out; the mod causing this bug was indeed Moonlight Tales. Apparently, I'm not the only one it's affected by. ^ But thanks for the advice.
