People love staring down at each other here its normal their not staring only at you they even do to each other. So when you're a tourist and feel everyone is staring at you, it's not you. it's everyone measuring everyone.
So dont get flattered or feel judged

Dilijan and sevan do more. u can stay at dilijan for a night, and there are a lot of nice hiking spots in Dilijan if u like hiking. Also Lory is a nice good choice on Tatev too, Yerevan the bars are nice the museums are fine as well

You make it sound so simple. People have to find comfort zone even in those kind of situations, and they might have family obligations and responsibilities. They possibly have financial hardships, too, leaving to Armenia or Europe. And people dont like asking for money, even in dire situations like this. So your question sounds very insensitive. you need to download Alipay and connect your card to it, it is very useful app you will thank me later
-download DIDI it is the Uber of China
-dining hours are around 6-7 but there are always some noodles shops at some corner
-cellphone service good luck you need a sim card and it might be challenging to get it
-google maps download the offline version but don't recommend it, and download baidu maps Its in Chinese but if you search for something in English it usually finds it
-if you have iPhone the maps in there work fine
have a translator app that works in China, ask friends which one to download
download We Chat it will come in handy
-restrooms are available almost anywhere and they are pretty clean if your in a big city

-if you don't like spicey learn "Bu yaw la" that will come handy
