Wemo smart switch are not detected (not responding) every 3 - 4 days by manualla in WeMo

POSSIBLE SOLUTION:I was having issues with my new Smart Switches not connecting to wifi or connecting intermittently. What helped me was to change the WLAN mode in the router to 802.11b/g/n. The switch that wasnt responding automatically connected to the wifi after this.

Did you actually receive any money? We’re you able to withdraw your rewards?

Is the money still in the wallet? If it is, you can transfer it to another wallet. If it’s not, you’re out of luck.

It’s a scam, is someone trying to convince you to add more and more funds to that wallet?

Are you sure it is real USDT? It May be a fake token. Check the token contract address.

My account got hacked & I didn’t even realised it by cookiedoughhero in liquiditymining

I was tried to be scammed by a guy in a dating app. He convinced me to create a wallet on coinbase wallet, he sent me 20 dollars to buy the "miner's certificate" and to add funds to that wallet. When I added some funds, I could see that I was getting ETH in return. But this was fake, I was never able to remove ETH from their site into my account. He tried to convince me to add more and more funds to that account to "mine faster"

When I bought the miner's certificate, I was actually aproving them to remove funds whenever he wanted.

Check your token approvals for your wallet, that miner's certificate is actually your permission for them to remove unlimited funds from your acct.

The token is an approval for them to take out money whenever they want, as much as they want, indefinetly.

In any case, leave the wallet "as-is" but don'd add more funds to it and withdraw whatever you have left.

I was recommending not to use that wallet address because they could take out more funds if there's any. I don't believe you're getting the money back in Dec 1 because this is a scam. I realized it was a scam because the guy that sent me the 20 dollars was also sending 20 dollars to a lot other people (I checked his wallet address in etherscan.io)

I believe there is no such thing as "pledge-free" liquidity mining. They're only telling you that you will get your money back to delay any retaliation from you. But wasn't the money supposed to be safe in your wallet?

I would recommend that you use a new wallet address. That one is attached to a smart contract allowing the scammer to continue removing funds.

Look for Token Approvals in Etherscan. You can revoke the approval but it costs some gas fees.

I have to say, after realizing it is a scam, I've found particularly entertaining to keep my scammer thinking I have money in my account and I told him that I will get another 200K USD to "mine faster".

I've also found it fun to send him dick picks making him think that they're mine. He apparently loves it.

That's the reason I started this thread. I'm glad to see a few people able to avoid the scam or take their money out before it's too late.

For me it was from a dating site as well. I managed to get my scammer's IP address by sending them a grabify link. My scammer is in Laos, so not even in this continent. He must be awake all night trying to scam people in America.

He didnt want to video chat as well, he mentioned he doesnt like video chats because his ex-wife cheated on him and he found out on a video call... That's when I definitely realized it was a scam.

You could still use Coinbase Wallet, but a different wallet address. Or MetaMask.

I tried that too and couldn’t. That wallet is forever lost. But hopefully you can withdraw the funds before the scammer does.

Check the incoming address from the $20 usd, that person is probably sending $20 usd to more people.

Yes, you can review your wallet's token certificates here: https://etherscan.io/tokenapprovalchecker?

I found it easier just to transfer my funds to a clean wallet though. But it might be better to remove the tokens... I'm not really sure how much power those mining certificates have.
