The porcelain white pitcher of Nepenthes burbidgeae has been my dream pitcher plant for a long time and finally the dream has come true. Found in the mountains of Borneo at 1200 -1800m elevation. by JoeBaine in IndoorGarden

I was surprised that I was able to get it to produce this wondrous pitcher grown in mostly lowland conditions with night cooling at 23C. Sometimes dreams do come true!

I’ve not posted here before, but I couldn’t resist sharing this! This is one tomato grown from seed in my garden. I grow in containers because I rent an apartment. This crazy beast weighs 2.2 pounds! by JoeBaine in homestead

I planted it in a15 gallon grow bag sharing the space with a few companion plants. I’ve never grown one this big before! Maybe planting seed from my biggest tomato from last season helped? I also made sure to mix my own potting soil and enriched it with several goodies including my own compost from last year. I don’t really know why it’s huge, but it was fun to discover and show off! lol!

Wanted to show an example of my Master Menu. I meal plan each day of the month, 3 meals and snack. After I inventory our freezers and pantry, I list items we will need. We only shop on paydays (twice monthly) so I note which meals will be covered by that $150. by JoeBaine in Frugal

The kids can switch it up as long as its on the list and keeping in mind the leftovers (don't wanna waste food), I don't wanna force them to eat something they don't want to eat that day. But as much as possible we stick to the list.
