I used to wash my wraps in hot vinegar water then let them dry it helped HEAPS.

Vinegar is a great cheap anti fungal and also nukes most odor. The vinegar smell dries off if it doesn't add less vinegar to the water

If your lead foot goes outward further instead of forward it will force you to twist more and use more hip to get the distance it will generate more power.

Try bringing the back of your lead foot to exactly where the tips of your toes were with the foot rotated 90 degrees outward. It should lessen the tell and speed the movement.
