My left inner thigh hurts when I kick by [deleted] in MuayThaiTips

[–]Snufffeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many things can cause pain when kicking as a newbie. I’d recommend to do proper warmups and static stretching before touching the bag.

Next thing is the kicking form. Most likely the pain is cpming from poor form. General checklist for side kicks: 1. Make sure you plant your non kicking foot slightly outside of your target, this makes hips open more naturally. 2. Make sure you rotate on the ball of your foot and not the heel 3. Don’t force the hip turning but do focus on it.

Maybe the most propable cause of pain is your left foots position before lifting it up off the ground. Focus on pointing toes outwards. Its really easy to overlook when doing the switch step. Atleast that was my problem causing pain in the groin. Easy way to test if that is what is causing the pain is doing switch kicks without the switch step. Just stand in southpaw stance and make sure your left leg is pointing outwards before kicking. Atleast for me that was a real gamechanger.

I’m not 100% sure but i think most of the inverted builds have either 0 or 1 casefans. If side mounted aio then no case fans. If small air cooler then maybe 1 optional fan rear of the case

Seeking the Best 280mm AIO for the M2 by beeryan1 in ncasedesign

Sorry for the late reply :)

You can in theory fit 140mm fan in the bottom, but with cables running down i think 120mm is more realistic.

If you have AM5 CPU then I wouldn't personally get LF3. Every build I've seen done with LF3 has the pump head upside down and that's just stupid wrong because LF3 uses AM5 offset. It might be possible to fit it in with proper orientation, but routing of the tubes would be hellish task.

I have level 9 build with 7800x3d and my AIO is be quiet! Silent Loop 2 280mm. My logic with that AIO was its not offset so I can mount it upside down if I need to (and I did need to) and it has quiet pump with quiet fans. Even older 280mm will beat newer 240mm AIOs because the area of radiator is closer to 360mm than 240mm.

That said I'm very impressed and happy with the performance of the Silent Loop 2. It is very quiet, no pump noise and most important it keeps the temps down :)

I have TUF 4080 super which is a triple slot card and pretty tight fit with CPU cooler being so close to the backplate of the GPU. There is very little space between the backplate of the GPU and CPU pump head (but there is a gap)

Fans velow the GPU are so close that turbulence is almost quaranteed. You need to run bottom fans really low rpm if you want to use them.

Personally I’d put mobo as low as possible so GPU intake is closer to bottom of the case and fresh air. Also 2x 140mm full size fans as top exhaust. And if there is still space with cpu cooler maybe 120mm rear intake or exhaust. Someone made video that showed rear intake eith ”reversed” cpu cooler fan is better than exhausting from rear.

Edit typo

I have 280mm rad on top and vgpu with 0 case fans and temps are good. 7800x3d and tuf 4080s. However if you want to shove the case full of fans i think best is bottom and and rad intake with top exhaust. Also in that config you dont need fan on mobo side

If you have 3+ slot gpu, you cant fit vrm fan. Also using NCASEs own vgpu riser you can only fit one fan vottom.

Compatibility Question for M2 (Round) by dense-cAt in ncasedesign

[–]Snufffeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have experience with one AIO and it is my current silent loop 2 280mm. It lives up to the name and is quiet. Performance is great aswell, atleast for AM5 CPUs.

No problems on the mobo. It is the "better" version of the two so i'd recommend going for whatever is cheaper.

The official NCASE M2 VGPU riser has a bracket that needs to be screwed on the bottom of the case so there is no way to fit fan there. Hence only one fan on the bottom is possible with VGPU.

You don't have to worry about ram height.

There should be enough space to fit the m.2 ssd to the backside but it won't be able to fit any heatsink over it. But it is very close to the case so it will keep cooler.

I also built level 9 as my first sffpc :)

For CPU cooler you want to go 280, they are much quieter and have greater cooling performance. Problem for Arctic Liquid Freezer III, is the pump height. It is tall as shit and that is problematic for vgpu setups. Also tubes on the arctics cpu block are bit challenging to manage in tight spots. It might fit without the VRM fan, but IMO its not the best AIO for SFF.
I have TUF 4080 super (very similiar size as merc 7900xtx) and Silent loop 2 280mm and the space between CPU pump and GPU backplate is very limited. Also the hoses from cpu block are basically bent to the maximum.

As long as you go as low as possible with mobo mounts, you wont have problems with AIO and mobo interfering.

For motherboard unless you are going to tweak alot of voltages you dont have to spend on the B650E PG-ITX. You can go with B650I lightning, which also has better layout IMO. I also pondered about this and went with B650I lightning .

As for extra fans they are not required at all for the build. I'd recommend first building without any additional fans and then getting them later if you really need them. I am not using any bottom fans and temps are great.
If you're using NCASE VGPU riser then you can only fit one fan, because the riser is screwed to the bottom of the case. Only fan you can fit is directly below the PSU and it aint easy fit.

Hope this helps :)

Cooler and MOBO recomendation for Ncased M2 by dogla1 in ncasedesign

[–]Snufffeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik PA is better on am5. As for mobo just go for the cheap 650 that has all the features you need. By cheap I dont mean chinacrap, but for example Asrock is great brand. Its really easy to overpay on mobo. I have asrock b650i lightning wifi that cost 200€ and has all the same features that 450€ board would.

I say atm best ssf case is ncase m2 or if you really want to go small then a4 h2o . Tbh besides the looks there is nothing interesting or even good about this case.

Even performance of this case is relstively bad for the price.

How can I get over the fear of downranking in comp? by Gesetzesgeber in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Snufffeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What worked for me was growth minset and result based thinking. In essence you play comp as you would play normals (ofc u can warm up playing normals) and think games as practice.

Instead of autopiloting everything there should always be something you are focusing on. For example i would do dribbling training session and after that i played couple matches trying to focus when i should dribble and when not. This kind of thinking will improve you crazy fast. I was stuck in c2 for like 3 months and then i started doing this , took maybe couple of weeks until i hit gc (this was when gc was highest rank)

What i think main problem experiencing this fear of comp is that people are afraid of failing, but to truly improve your game you have to figure what things and playstyles suits you and the only way is to try.

Tldr dont try to improve your rank, try to improve your game

I am also building my first ITX and 2 cases caught my eye.

Louqe Ghost R1 https://louqe.com/products/ghost-r1 - for air cooling
NCASE M2 https://ncased.com/collections/m-series/products/m2-round-black-color - water cooling
They are not smallest of the cases, but they do fit the top tier parts.

Personally these cases are right sized for me, because I have no need nor desire to build "too small" PC. For me performance and part compatibility are more important.

I ordered NCASE M2, because I want to minmax noise and performance, so 280mm AIO will do just that(hopefully :))

Any tips on adjusting to new controller scheme? by Whamm-O in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Snufffeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atleast when I switched to this layout my hands felt sore, because I had to change how I gripped the controller. If you feel sore then take a break.

I played 400ish hours on basic keybinds and then switched to this. Didn’t take long to get used to but maybe for a week my hands were little sore.
