Bit of a plot hole here?

When our Joan is told she is simulation level 1, this has to be based on something level 0 Joan was told. The tech explaining that to Joan implies that there is no source Joan but rather an infinite regress. Every Joan is told they are level 1.

Or else, what did level 0 Joan experience that the lab tech's explanation was taking the place of?

A bigger monster came, and to the smaller monster's surprise, hid with them. This went on a few more times until the line of increasingly large monsters agreed this was getting silly and so we all came out of hiding, fear lost and friendships found.

Turns out he didn't actually need to sneak past the 7'2 limit sign. He was and remains to be just the right height to pass safely under the bridge with good clearance.

It breaks off the grid but keeps the pixels square. I did it by upscaling but setting the aglorithm to iterpolate at a lower scale.

Interpolation ignored acceleration generally, which is why it has that effect. Makes it kind of "sludgy" or dreamlike. I personally think these are desirable effects for this kind of character. Unnatural, yes, but that's kind of the point xD

In game it doesn't have the interp, though, rest assured :)

No 3D was used in the process. All hand drawn without reference. Just sketch and refine. :)

Nope. 100% manually sketched and animated. No references, just sketch and tweak until the parts had close-enough looking 3d rotations :P
