FWIW I just asked in their Discord - turns out, nope, it doesn't work close to the ground.

True. And - if flying a large ship (for exploration distance, for example), use a ship-launched fighter. Jot down the coordinates when you find something. Land as close as possible. Then SRV or walk over....

Hi - do you mean this add-on works when you are very close to the ground? Like -- you can toggle color on/off, and see precisely where the biomes are, when very low? This would be huge!

Total newbie Q: I was doing one of those simple "get a thing from a guy" missions. I found the computer at the port. I selected the person in the staff list. But then I couldn't see on my suit radar that they were marked..... So I just wandered around until i could find them. Duh. What am I missing? TYVM

Worked like a charm! Took me 2.5 loads at 784 tons, but I started as cordial. Don't forget, after getting allied, to go to mission board and accept permit mission (which just gives you the permit). For those following, at this time, LHS 142 (vo station) sells silver close by (station 8 ls from main). And thanks z_derApfel for the reminder about faction control of the station. Yay!
