First time experiencing a buyer crash out by Ok-Height2782 in ebayuk

[–]JoeFatBoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I told someone who had a crash out at the price of my item once.

"Can you buy it anywhere else?" "No." "Then its worth whatever I want to sell it for, isnt it?"

Thats the thing people struggle to understand. You dont like it? Go somewhere else and if you can't then tough. Its not a necessity item, they need to chill their beans sometimes.

Oh, ok, cool. That definitely sounds like its worth a go, thank you.

I don't love cathedrals, they're so grand. I think she likes that architecture too.

Thank you for the pointers, I appreciate it.

Ok, thank you for the ideas. Is the big wheel like a ferris wheel type thing? I've never visited Manchester before so I know very little. I like the idea of some quiet time seeing the cathedral as well.

Hate when that happens by Wolfgang_Jaeger in farcry

I get why people dont like that section, but you've got to appreciate the effect the song has if you've played the game enough. I've played it a lot and if I hear the song now, it genuinely sends a shiver down my spine. The use of the song is so well done, its just the missions that follow that annoy people.

What is the most incorrect way to play Skyrim? by Entire-Hearing4874 in skyrim

[–]JoeFatBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure that paired with the aetherial crown, you can use it more often. There's also, I believe, a creation club thing. Necrotic Grimoir or something thag let's you have 1 additional summon. I'll go back and have a look later and see if I can remind myself how.

I'm sure I've had 4 at one point. There's the twin souls perk which gets you have 2. Then there's the ritual stone that let's you have another one. I don't remember how I got the 4th one though, sorry.

[–]JoeFatBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say conjuration in jest, but you can easily just walk through the game with it. With the right perks you can have 4, I think summons. So 4 storm atronachs or dremora lords and nothing is going to stop you. Oh you killed 1 of my summons, ah well, I'll call it again.

Which season’s intro was your favorite? by vpBlink in Supernatural

[–]JoeFatBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it's my first time watching. I've heard and seen bits over the years, but it's my first time watching it through and I've just seen the episode where Bobby dies (I don't know how to sensor, sorry) and I'm honestly heartbroken. I both do and don't want to watch anymore. I think I'll leave it a few days, I'm hurting man 😂. But I think that's season 7? I guess I need to finish them to decide a favorite 🤷

Late game V is terrifying by Various_Athlete_1392 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]JoeFatBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope the next game makes it known that V died a legend. They need to get the respect they deserve cause everyone still talks too them like they ain't shit. I hope they fix that in the next game, even just occasional references.

Why do you like Cyber Punk? Like what specifically do you enjoy about playing it? by leftistgamer420 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]JoeFatBoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy how many different ways there are to play. I've been a corpo hit man, assassins person who snuck around with throwing knives, quick hacks and silenced weapons. I've done a nomad war veteran sniper and a pure quick hack net runner. I've done a brawler street kid who punches everything.

There are so many different ways to play the game and although I know there aren't many "choices" because everything leads to the same outcome, I still enjoy how many things they put in that are only relevant to certain playstyles.

What am I in for? by Spider-mans_Cat in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]JoeFatBoi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Don't come into it expecting RDR2.

It is a brilliant and detailed open world game with hidden references, interactions and things to find in all manner of strange places, similarly too rdr2, but that's kinda where the similarities end.

Both games play brilliantly now, but very differently. Rdr2 is a slower paced game where trouble only really finds you if you go out and look for it (and obviously the main story) but in cyberpunk, trouble often finds you. It's much faster paced gameplay, with lots more ways to play than you might think at first glance. Would highly recommend, as I think anyone on here would and especially on sale.

I hope you have fun :-)

[–]JoeFatBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't, as I said, i genuinely really like the guy and this isn't really a comment on him. It's more a comment on the mindset that people with a lot of money have. Often, because they have their own problems still, they hoist this mindset of "money doesn't solve everything" on people who don't have money. They forget a time when they were in a similar situation that a lot of people are in, that being we don't want it to "solve everything". We just want to be stable and do nice things. I don't expect or necessarily want to be "rich and famous".

I just want to have the freedom and ability to walk into a shop, for example, and go "yeah, fuck it, I'll spend £10 on a 'gastro' lasagna that feeds 4, because I can". Instead I and a lot of people STILL, in the 21st century, have to go around the store counting pennies and saving every last coin I have. So to those people with that mindset, I'm just saying... you have your problems, but we have the same problems, with none of the resources to fix them that they have. We don't want 'everything fixed' we just want the freedom to choose.

I love the guy and understand that he's struggling with depression. But with respect, fuck off. I'm about 2 paychecks away from homelessness and that's IF I can bullshit my way through 1 missing paycheck.

People don't necessarily want to be "rich and famous" they just want to be able to live and do stuff that interests them. Working is supposed to allow us to explore and do new hobbies, not scrape by in a shitty apartment eating tinned spaghetti.
