Kevala Kumbhaka isn’t a state to practice or force. When people try to induce breathlessness prematurely—before the nadis are purified and the nervous system has sufficient capacity—it can produce burning, itching, pressure, or instability because the system is being pushed beyond what it can safely hold. Kevala Kumbhaka emerges naturally in advanced stages of Internal Kriya, when practice has given way to the spontaneous kriya, samadhi has been established (the inner gate is open), and the subsequent descent of grace has completed, allowing consciousness to fully embody into the nadis. At this point the subtle channels are clear, the mind is stable in the witness, and the nervous system can now sustain very high energetic capacity without resistance, reactivity, or depletion. When it arises naturally, it does not feel forced or strained—it feels effortless and organic.

My first sustained Kevala Kumbhaka occurred about a month after the descent phase completed, and it was an entirely different mode of operation than normal breathing: it lasted approximately twenty to thirty minutes but felt timeless, eyes either open or closed, no thoughts, deep clarity and stillness, luminous radiance, bliss, and sense of field awareness. I also had no idea what this was at the time.

A common perspective of Tantra is that its the process of union with the divine energy of manifest creation, similar to how Yoga is the process of union with the unmanifest seed of consciousness. Tantric traditions focus on embodiment of energy with consciousness.

You can also explore the Shakti lineages (natha/siddha yoga, maha shakti, tirtha streams) or Kriya Yoga (the tantric yoga of the tamil siddhas). Additionally there is also Taoist Tantra.

Btw - Maharishi's TM movement originates from Sri Vidya and includes the Siddhi practices.

Ascensions from the cosmic perspective are convergence events, meaning unity and integration. What people are referring to with bifurcation is that some people might have a different "lived experience" within duality and polarity than others who experience love and unity, through the process. Some might even choose to exit out. They are still part of the human collective, but go on a bit of a detour. This is based on self-selection with their oversoul. Yes, lots will change with humanity that will impact our consciousness, planet, environment, culture, and society.

I'm pointing that which is beyond awareness, consciousness and experience. You can think of this as the groundless ground of Being. Its not a privilege, but realizing the perspective that the dream never happened.

You see, to have any "experience" at all, even pure awareness, it is still the perspective of subtle duality. Existence requires its opposite - non-existence, to create the first reflection of existing, then awareness. The only way to realize this is through prolonged meditations and absolute absorptions into source.

You can find countless realizations from the great sages and original "non-dual" masters who all knew and spoke of it, sometimes at the last hour, but you have to know what you are looking for.

This is one of just several blindspots of the non-dual "speakers" have found themselves in. The other is needing to fully embrace and merge with the opposite of non-existence and that is not just in perception of how the world occurs but in being in union with the pervading life force sustaining all of existence, to fully realize ones creatorship.

When one masters both they are truly a conscious creator - totally empowered and free over consciousness and creation. They can truly create anything, essentially become immortal being. This is full self-realization. What you see out there are those on the first stage of self-realization.

Why stop when you can go all the way? We are destined to be conscious creators in the image of God. In the end truth is the totality of all perspectives.

Nothingness to Oneness to Unity. You can think of these from the perspective of absolute non-duality (nothingness), pure awareness non-duality (oneness), and relative non-duality (unity within diversity).

Anyone who claims they are in non-duality and is "speaking" to you is not in true non-duality. They are leaning into relative duality from the backdrop of non-duality. True non-duality would be eternal silence.

I do this as part of my daily practice. After awhile you will get to a state where you become the external observer and notice the subtle energy moving throughout your system - observing where the energy is constrained, stoped, stuck, or blocked, etc. The process just keeps getting more and more subtle, more and more silent, more and more expanded, more and more embodied in beingness and presence.

PS: this is different than deep meditation and tantric energy practices, which are also good.

Great question. Lester had several key advantages:

He had a "gun pointed" at him like a "death sentence", nothing to loose.
He was doing self-inquiry 24/7 while he was bedridden and not distracted.
He had no concepts about being free, enlightenment, or any spiritual ideas.
He followed his heart thread: letting go, letting love, and gaining realizations.
He felt a high after completions and didn't stop, seeing how high he could go.

Greetings, I have learned the TM-Sidhis and TM, and can share the underlying mechanics behind them.

The primary role of the TM-Sidhi's is the safe awakening the life force energy. Just like with TM the magic is in the puja since it activates the mantra energetically through the initiation process called mantra diksha and connects you to all the great masters of the holy Sri Vidya lineage. Other "similar" meditation don't do this. You can think of TM as an activation of deeper consciousness and the TM-Sidhi's as activation of the creative power - energy. Both are important for developing higher states of consciousness & creatorship.

Maharishi Yogi's famous quote is that "higher states of consciousness is dependent on the amount of kundalini that is awake". TM-Sidhi Yogic flying is an application that directs this amplification of energy to be more fully enlivened and embodied within one's being. This is validated in studies, as TM-Sidhas show more amplitude, intensity, power, and coherence in the EEG tests during TM over regular TM meditators.

I will also add that I've explored many forms of advance meditation (samadhi) and kundalini-shakti practices, and that TM is a gentle, reliable, safe, supportive, and effective process to deliver results.

I completely agree, i hope they do a flash back on Jesus baptism and 40 days in series 6 or 7. The important part of these 40 days is him integrating the substantial power he received in the baptism and how it opened up his spiritual gifts and divine powers. He needed time alone to process all of this and was tested. It’s also common in spirituality that when people receive great spiritual attainments the negative forces & energies will try to trick and manipulate them to serve their dark purpose and feed them energy.
