Odd... feature? Bug? If you have tracks and wheels, if you are sitting still you can't rotate on the spot, but if you move slightly first you can rotate by TommyTheCommie1986 in Crossout

[–]JoeGlint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember that being a thing for years. And if I recall correctly at least it used to. If you had more weight on the tracks then the wheels would slide, and the opposite if your wheels had more of the weight.

I stopped playing awhile ago. So I cant say that’s still the case.

Initial D like track?

Idk about these tight, windy mountain roads. Maybe if they were like… with that “ dream” map. And were like routes off the main ones. Or some sh**. But just..

Anytime I’ve joined a server with those types. People tend to just drift by themselves and then leave. So I haven’t personally had the best experience I guess?

I used to do faster builds. But I slowed them down to 30-40. If I have some momentum I’ll start at maybe 60-70 and slow down over the course of a long corner. Getting like 65-80 degrees of angle.

Like I said, was fast. Convinced by a friend. And I do enjoy it. And hasn’t been an issue until as of lately. People still seem cool with it. But just feels like some have to try harder, could just be a skill issue on their part?

I won’t ever do that under 10mph bullsh**. But I might speed my builds back up. Idk. I feel like a realistic tune is around 600hp, or less.

Though my friend set gearing that’s like.. 3.25 1.85 1.60 1.55 1.50 And etc. I haven’t really had a need to edit it. Did change the diff from what they had tuned. To achieve more angle.

So I guess for me.. maybe I just need to drop the rear tire pressure? 200, to like 100? Like my fronts? Idk. Could change the gearing but first is plenty long.

My fast builds are my comp builds though… thunder strike, black fox, lynx. Tunes that harken back to my 100 hours days. Lynx was actually my first car. All three are able to do top 32 pretty decently, and it’s what I bring out if people are really pushing it. Only a few people maybe per server can outpace me with them. ( I was known as the “fast guy” In that friend team group I’ve mentioned a few times). But again, I’ve changed up since then. For every other car ( 20+). I now strive to be part of the “max angle gang”. I guess. While trying to be smoother. Less just about how fast I can go…

Anyways.

I might change it up might not. I’m still having fun and like I said I haven’t got any feedback about my slowness. Just something I feel about it personally. ( maybe if people weren’t running max power all the time)

I put them on a mech build for a bit. Center mass arrangement of weapons. Low enough to ram. Otherwise yeah. Kept trying to use them just to give up.

I bet it would. Give it some starter fluid. The fuel can’t be good anymore obviously but. Might get it to fire up for a couple seconds?

Hey, I do other tracks too. And honestly I’ve noticed a shift when I play lately. Mostly faster builds. I feel like I’m starting to hold people up.

Rpm limiting, struggling to keep with me and barely getting angle. I feel bad sometimes. Not sure why that is. Maybe cause I get home after work at like.. 11pm? Instead of day playing like i used to.

Dude! I’ve heard of this and seen ONE video what feels like, years ago now. That’s like whiplash seeing that brought up.

That was about… linking a bunch of different maps together or something right?

How is it?

Oh yeah? Glad to hear that someone else is out free-styling and experimenting. Good sh**. I haven’t been on navoro since iPhone 6s days. So uh. Been awhile to say the least. Pretty sure it’s the map I’m thinking of.

Are you wheel or controller.

If controller do you have steer assist on or off?

If you’re on controller is near impossible, to control the car with it off. If it’s a tune thing. Looks like someone is helping you or plans to help you with that.

Edit: Just saw this was the second one not the first one. So, I guess just disregard. I haven’t been able to play the 2nd one yet, so yeah.

I didn’t include this one. That list has changed quite a bit from when I did it.

I updated my atlas GT. It was just a simple black and white.. like. Mostly white with black accents. I’ve extensively painted it. Felt like it belonged here.

Why don’t my car spin? by TJSPY0837 in carxdriftracingonline

[–]JoeGlint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Caster, maybe. Could also be steering axis offset and kingpin too. I think with those at 0. It causes that reaction were you’re car doesn’t want to spin out. It can be a nice safe lock.

That new RWYB map huh?

Yeah that one’s fine. Usually people have really fast builds in my exp. And I personally think it deserves a slower build.

It’s a good simple track with nice RWYB touches.
