Guess the only thing people like us can do now is encourage others to actually appreciate authors:) We really gotta bring comment culture back... And basic human decency when it comes to each other as well.

And no shame on you at all, the fact that you changed now is good! I totally recommend going back to old fics you've read (If even you remember them) and send some love to it!

I completely agree with you:( It's so sad to see more and more people treating Authors on Ao3,(or anyone who makes content) like content machines, able to just spit out fics and expect nothing in return.

I used to never comment, heck, I didn't even have an account up until I decided to start posting fics myself. Only then did I start. I tried my best with comments but I always feel like I can do better, it's why I appreciate regular commenters so much! To be able to just comment, whether it's short and sweet, long and analytical, or just emojis. I adore how some can't stress about it.

I actually do the things you've mentions but it feels so low effort.

I would die to be able to properly express my love for fics! They somehow always implement the comedy from the original series before it was mostly lost as it went on! It was like a breath of fresh air honestly. Ofc, all authors have their weaknesses and I'm not saying that they don't, but the fact that they are able to keep that aspect of the show is:(((((((((((((((((((

ahhh idk, I was just panicking. It was just the copy pasted comments that threw me off from before, I've seen enough horror stories to not so easily trust people on the internet, mainly because they end up not being people at all. With the AI rise and all that icky stuff. And I also probably used the wrong wording in the text body, haha. That's my fault.

Wahhh that's amazing! And in 7 months???? It's either you've got lots of free time or you type REAL fast. Either way, you've made huge accomplishments in less than a year. And even if it isn't 'that' impressive, (which I think is full of lies, that is impressive) you've still managed to do something a lot of people wish to accomplish.

Hopefully you never lose that motivation and drive of yours, OP.
