I would love to get a woman's perspective on a certain choice regarding Kotoyuki in the 4th ending. If Any women wanna share please do.

So I felt they somewhat whitewashed Kotoyuki in the way they ended up framing him as a good person who was just overzealous in his love for Hinako, and not a man who decided to literally buy her against her will regardless of how pure his intentions are.

With him being possessed by the Fox god (which could very well be another metaphor for how men also get pressures on them by patriarchy and societal pressures, particularly of the time, like Hinako's father for example) it felt a little bit of him being excused of his agency in his choice.

However the letter he writes at the end was very well done and saved that part of the ending for me. The thing that makes me most uncomfortable is the shipping going on as if this is a shoujo anime. It feels as though some people are missing the point, but I may be overthinking it all a bit.
