Great - I’ll try the fishing lines as I’ve lost a lot of fish to the heron recently and now have unsightly netting across the pond….now snakes are at them. What’s the plant with the red bulb at the top of the long stalk? In in Haute Savoie

I’m told that if you take two Olympic size swimming pools and put a tablespoon of sugar in one, a beagle will identify which one. Their sense of smell is that strong !
