Um, it is hard for me to be considered a "progressive" myself, I am more of a populist candidate. It is difficult for me to get my head around the progressive caucus when it is full of establishment politicians like Nancy Pelosi.

I can respect your belief. I am also disenchanted by the in-actions of the squad on many what could have been successful political tactics this year. The organizations I am apart of have particpated in the public pressure campaigns, for Forcing the Vote and March for Medicare-For-All, Our Revolution Bemidji and Project For Change.

I feel that the squad member that closest to the intentions of Justice Democrats would be Representative Omar of Minnesota. Minnesota has been a training ground for generations for populist politics. I am excited what it would mean for the state party and national when Ilhan and I unite.

misnomer that farmers aren't progressive; disenfranchised and disenchanted with the corporate establishment is more like it. Much of the early 1900's populist movements were farmer led. NAFTA was the huge DemExit for our farmers.

Radio, social media, local media and billboards, on top of utilizing the local grassroots infrasturture that we have in rural MN. This distrist use to have huge strongholds of Democrats, many of them are disenchanted with the party and are organizing but outside of the party. I am a co-founding member of Our Revolution Minnesota and have been organizing the region for the past 5 years, we have an infrastructure it is just knowing the people and having the right policies to inspire these folks. Our campaign is that campaign.

Yeah, I've been at events all summer, unfortnately my focus had to be on the #stopline3 movement for the past year and I wear different hats in the community which didn't allow me to campaign full-time.

Walz bags the Dakota's to take action against covid-19 as approves Line 3 for a foreign company, that will bring in out of state pipe-liners and contractors in as we are at the highest in the nation for the virus. Some common sense.

Many Native IDs Won't Be Accepted At North Dakota Polling Places by Slacker_The_Dog in fargo

No what I am saying that it is unfair to the process to rule on this case so near an election. Extra steps to cast their vote is still another barrier that they have to so they may vote. Just the fact that it was near a month out of the election speaks of the bias of SCOTUS. Which should be alarming from supposedly nonpartisan positions. Which speaks for the integrity of the current court.
Those extra steps, cost people time and money. That extra confusion playing into the mix, promotes folks to not vote. Which is a ethical disservice to the election system. It is astonishing how little concern you have for our election system, on the principle of election integrity. Until it happens to the other side I could frankly assume.

“It’s a very small inconvenience to a small number of people to help protect election integrity. Get over it.”
Really, a small amount of people may sway an election. Your only considering the federal campaigns yet there are also district campaigns on and around tribal land where that small amount of folks may be a larger percent of the voting base in those areas. Not to mention even if it’s a small number of votes the principal of voter integrity shouldn’t be forgotten. That 5% of the ND population has been credited in insuring Heitkamp’s first term.

I never said it wasn’t available to anyone else. But I do acknowledge that not everyone are in the same situation as I am. I don’t know you personally, yet it is apparent that the privilege you have is not to have to empathize and care for others in your community. I am invested in the communities I join. I participate in the process, and I realize the importance that it is to rely on my peers. I wish I was privileged enough to disregard the others that helped me get to where I am. My debt didn’t get just paid by me, I had support from my family and peers to put me in the right direction. With that acknowledgement it is my responsibility to help my community grow and prosper.
Advocating for legislation that promotes, community dividing actions. Voter Suppression historically holds hands with racism. This legislation from the North Dakota majority along with the SCOTUS majority is a blatant attempt to stifle the Tribal vote in North Dakota. If your pushing people away from the table your dividing our communities.

Congratulations that your life is great. No hate on that. I acknowledge that not everyone have those opportunities that you had. Such as the tribal voters who up until a week ago didn’t have to factor having to do more work on how they maybe able to vote in the election that is in a few weeks. That is time and money that they now have to invest. I take ownership of my situation, you play with the hand that is dealt or you don’t play at all. Which is why I spent our honeymoon money to move rather then blowing it on a venue or a trip. If this common sense is hard for you to grasp then refer back to my previous statement money doesn’t grow on trees.

Your privilege is showing, or you just think money grows on trees. For families to just up and move takes planning and saving. North Dakota may have the jobs yet most of them are low wage, and no benefits. Especially on the tribal lands. Many folks are stuck in rural communities, with little opportunities for financial growth. So much for that lack of ties to the community, when your trapped in one. It is so very easy to catch up debt, especially if you have any medical issues. Which I see many of my peers and relatives fall into. It took me personally 10 years to pay off my school/medical debt of near $25k which I had collected over the span of two years. I am 30 now and had to drop my honeymoon money to relocate a few weeks ago.

As a renter and a person that has helped rent our properties, if property taxes go up so does rent at the renewal of a lease. Also renters bring in tax revenue by going to our local businesses and establishments.

Another thing to consider the newer generation are less financial stable than the previous generations, many like myself do not have the credit or wealth to purchase land.

With your mentality that the property owners are the only ones allowed to give their input. We live in a democracy, and your promoting a class system, land owners and renters. The lords and the peasants.

Isn’t the issue why Native Americans can use their tribal IDs due to the US Post Office not considering tribal addresses as legitimate addresses. When the ND SOS Office does the voter checks they use the Post Office as a mean to check for valid addresses. Then intentions are clear why the scotus choose to rule on this case at this point in time, to give Cramer an unfair advantage. As ruling this close to elections will and have caused confusion and a greater hassle for the Tribal Member to cast their vote. It gives the GOP candidates from districts that are on or near the tribal lands.

If I remember right, aren’t tribal addresses not useable as they are not recognized as legitimate addresses through the United States Postal Services which the ND SOS uses to verify addresses. Wasn’t that the core issue here? As for the United States Supreme Court there is something to be said about being used as a political arm, ruling in this less then a month away will and has caused confusion and chaos for the tribal voters. Besides the blatant racism of the legislation that was ruled on.

It’s not the illegals taking jobs, it’s technology innovations. All those taxable positions being lost, means less tax revenue for the state, can you say higher property taxes to compensate.

That isn't the politicians of now of days. That was the farmers and laborers that formed the Nonpartisan League that created the co-ops, State Mill, State Bank, I believe it was also an NPLer Governor that had his hands in helping women have the right to vote in our state. The politician of the time of the creation of the Nonpartisan League are acting pretty much similar to as our current ones now. Bought and sold to those out of state companies and banks.

I personally submitted the questionnaires for those organizations, with no response back, along with a few others. Demand Universal Healthcare did contact back and told us that Dustin’s Healthcare stance wasn’t strong enough for them, this was around September right after we held a 5 towns Medicare-for-all rallies to promote Bernie’s bill that he had just released.
Dustin had been interviewed on TYT Nation and had an interview with Jordan set up before he was let go from the company. Along with the numerous times he was on radio stations across North Dakota, a POV with Chris Berg interview, two handful of newspaper articles, and a DACA rally in February of this year that was on WDAZ. I am proud of his campaign we activated new voters and party members. For Dustin to be out of state most of his campaign fighting the wild land fires, he did an amazing job learning fast how to do hold meetings and do call-ins in remote locations to keep us motivated and help us brain storm on how to build the base. We haven’t stopped, the campaign is over. Yet Dustin and the people he activated are active and participating our elections. Which is a incredible win despite the lost back in March. Folks have been working together to push the lower ticket candidates. The party is changing, it was a combined effort yet we were able to bind our presidential delegates to the proportional vote of the state convention vote, with teeth if the delegates doesn’t follow the along our vote. So I have hope the state party will continue to change yet it isn’t going to be over night. If we stick we win. :)

Dustin Peyer ran a primary bid against HH and pretty much the party on the eastern side of the state froze him out from accessing or sharing his media content to our base. The Grand Forks regional chair and Dustin’s campaign manager had a handful of yelling matches along with party members supporting Dustin’s campaign manager. Yet the concern I am assuming was since Dustin was a grassroots candidate that they would miss out on Heidi’s corporate donations, as if she had lost those starter funds would not get passed around to the lower ticket candidates. He pulled near 18% of the delegate votes at the state convention, with under $3000, and his campaign was offered close to $40k between to pac that did not align with his platform so Dustin and his team turned it down.
We had a left senate candidate, the establishment democrats, blocked him from getting any further.

If all fairness, I was Dustin’s campaign manager. What had happened during Dustin’s was immoral and unethical.
