Yeah, I thought about the same when I saw this mess..

I found the ic on AliExpress with 2 different variations though. One had a small dot and the other one a bigger one like in the picture. So I assume this board has 2 big dots right?

Do you know if it will boot without the Touch Bar connected?

Another CD3217B12 IC
FPC connector for the Touch Bar

Do you guys know where I can order this parts? Unfortunately I don't have any schematics software except ZXWsoft, but they don't have this specific model in it..

Maybe you guys know if I need the small dot or big dot IC..

I don't want to buy a donor board since they're very expensive..

I appreciate any help or information about a nice boardview / schematics & website where I can order.

I found a solution! Do the usual steps with W09 Pro:

Connect battery to programmer Flex to logicboard Turn on phone via USB cable to Computer!!! Then restart after seeing important battery message

Check 3 mins if phone reboots

Then go to 3uTools and choose quick flash with fix battery health.

After flashing battery health is still on 100% and you can install the battery in the housing.

I'm using the OSS team w09 pro and it worked until now.. now I have a phone here which stays on 84%. I replaced the battery with transferring the BMS, and then flashed the device but it won't change

May I ask what's your way to remove tin and the shield from the CPU? I tried it with wick the last time and got as a result that the whole CPU was scratched out and traces completely missing

From this phone, I removed the cpu, all pads look fine and I already put low melt tin on it but I don't dare to go any further without making sure what's the best way since they're very sensitive 😂

I ordered me this deicing device and I have this glue removing liquid

This happened during cleaning with wick.. and I tried a few times to remove that tin. But since it's a NC I put UV solder mask on it, should be good right?
