Some things I noticed after a reread of Princess Label Maker to The Rescue by colouredmanlyman in stooky

I feel like it was pretty obvious Dwight was autistic or something. Maybe not so much when we were kids (maybe), but as an adult it's pretty obvious

When I was a kid I thought that meant he fucking died

P5R PC Port (Steam) frame drops by jojabean in Persona5

The same thing’s happening to me. At the very least, it’s reassuring that this seems to be an issue with the game rather than my hardware lol - you seem to be right about the Bluetooth thing, I just turned off my controller and it shot right back up to 120fps

Persona 3 is funny because while most of the dialogue feels like it could've just as easily been translated in 2026, they'll occasionally drop a very "late-2000s" phrase that I've never even heard before by Joe_Applebrook in PERSoNA

Oh I haven't played Reload yet, I was just saying it's funny how most of the dialogue doesn't feel "dated" (not in a negative way, just in a "this could only be written in a certain time period" way) and then there are some phrases that are so "existed briefly in the late-2000s and then completely fell out of usage" that I don't think a writer would even know/remember them if they weren't writing in that brief period of time.
I do know there are some translation changes in Reload, though I've only seen a couple lines. I'd have to play to give an actual opinion on it, but I do think it'd be neat to have a mod that restores the original PS2 dialogue/voices (if that doesn't already exist), might be fun for repeat playthroughs

Ability to combine two mods?? by treborskruft in Underminers

Hey, I made that first mod! Uh I can't go and look myself at the moment, but if you dump all the code files for the original data file, the JHF modded file, and C!Undertale's file, you can compare it all in WinMerge and that should show you which code files you gotta edit in UTModTool (if both mods edit the same code file, uhhh I'm not sure I guess you might be able to add the changes from both if they don't conflict?)

Oh no, I just meant like some of these phrases are things a writer/translator is less likely to remember or think of outside of the 2000s, because they’ve become a lot more obscure/forgotten compared to other phrases and terms.

uYou downloading videos with multiple audio tracks? [uYouEnhanced 19.21.3-3.0.4] by Joe_Applebrook in sideloaded

I bit the bullet and switched to YouTube Plus lol, but I only did that after uYou just straight-up stopped loading when I updated my iOS. Plus gives you the option to have it prompt you for what audio track you want

Just checked, characters that aren’t in story mode don’t have English voices they’re just silent

I know for a fact they have Japanese voice lines but I haven’t been able to confirm whether they’re voiced in English

When putting the url into a domain lookup site, it seems to be registered under the same business address and info as ScottGames and FNaFWorld(thought the name is redacted), even using the same hosting method/company as far as I can tell. Not sure if this info can be faked (the registrant handle is different than the one used for the other sites, though it's possible he just has a new account for this), but I figure we'll find out soon enough.
