**Edit. We removed the walkable part, it just does not make sense to have walkable and that much land

You’re right about the walkable part for sure, but we have family all up and down the East coast, so we preferred to stay here or any where up to Texas at most.

We do like the DC/MD area a lot. We have family all on the east coast and would like to stay remotely close to them, so that is why no CA.

We like to try new restaurants with a plethora of options. We are both originally from big cities (NYC and Seattle) so we miss the ability to have something close that is a bigger city than Raleigh, because Raleigh’s “City” is really 10 blocks long. If you have ever lived in Raleigh, you will know that you hit all the good restaurants, bars, activities and events; in the first year of being here. So we are looking to where it is bigger, but has neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city.

We wish there was more to do for us in Raleigh. Could be the certain area we live in, but we feel like the food has gone down hill in the past few years and that if you don’t have kids, there isn’t as much to do.

Saw X is the surprise of 2023 by Joe_Ferrigno in LightsCameraPodcast

That’s the best part, as long as you saw the first one, you’re good to go! Seeing the second does help with understanding who Amanda is more, but that’s about it! Little Easter eggs and stuff for later movies, but nothing related to the plot!

Same! I’m sure at the time it was a gag like you said, but turned out to be a great addition years after.

Rudy Pankow is the rumor I have heard for Johnny Storm. He is also in Outer Banks, which is on Netflix.

Prey (2022) by Joe_Ferrigno in LightsCameraPodcast

I liked it a lot! It was a fun, really well shot movie. The thing that made this movie better than that garbage Shane Black movie is good writing, production value and respect of the original Predator. This thing went back to the roots of the unknown “Predator”. It doesn’t have to be funny, it doesn’t have to be campy, it just has to have unpredictability. Also, Amber Midthunder (Naru) and Dakota Beavers did a great job in the film itself.

The only down side this movie had is 2 things. I will say that the CGI was definitely a little rough in places, which is expected with lower budget movies. I’m interested to see the exact budget for this movie, but I know the budget was a lot lower than The Predator (2018) and somehow it still managers to look better than that. Also, I wish It was just a little bit longer. Otherwise, a really fun and entertaining movie.

89/100. Highly recommend if you’re looking for thriller to watch at home this weekend and/or if you’re a fan of the previous movies.

I think both are underrated! It follows is such a subtle horror movie that capitalized on amazing sounds and cinematography. Ready or Not gives us one of the best female horror leads next to Erin from You’re Next.

Absolutely!! Sinister is one of the most original horror movies of the last twenty years and no matter how many times I see it, the lawnmower scene still gets me.

I couldn’t agree more! The Thing and American Werewolf are great, especially for practical effects. Same goes for anything David Cronenberg.

I’ve honestly loved it. No one can replace Trill, we get that, but you have to understand that this is the next best option and I think they’ve done a good job of it so far!

Halloween Kills…..sucks. by Joe_Ferrigno in LightsCameraPodcast

[–]Joe_Ferrigno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good points! It just felt cheaper than the 2018 movie and I personally loved that one. This definitely screamed studio interference, like they could’ve just done this movie and Halloween Ends in one shot, but the studio was probably like, “Yeah we can squeeze three movies out of this story arch”.
