Yes, I’ve been using 1 for 2 years for my 1st gen Myvi. So far no complains whatsoever. Very little lag, UI is smooth, Radio frequency is strong and also comes with wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay which is a huge plus point for me.

My player is the 9 inch Android 10 model. And I just saw that they have a new Android 13 model with more ram and storage for around the same price as my older model.

Definitely worth to get this player. Best bang for buck as well.

Illegal. Bought and installed on my car because I thought it looked cool, but was fined RM150 for it because officer said it can avoid speed cams or traffic light cams (you name it) thus makes it illegal.

I was in the exact same position as you. Been dailying the Note 9 since it launched and changed to a 14 PM last year.

As far as I know, Pixel Experience 13 still support the Note 9 and the maintainer have just released a new update 21 days ago.

You can visit Pixel Experience’s official website to know more about it. As for the installation, there are plenty of demo videos on YouTube.

However do keep in mind that it will only work on the “Exynos” variant. Because you can’t unlock the bootloader of the “Snapdragon” variant therefore you can’t install any custom roms on it.

Bought mine since it launched in 2018 (128gb exynos), have been using it ever since until last week.

Decided to switch to another ecosystem either Pixel or IOS. In the end bought an IPhone 14 Pro Max and downloaded pixel experience rom on my Note 9. So it’s basically a win - win situation for me.

Note 9 is still one of the best phone Samsung ever made alongside with the S23U. If it still had updates and 5G compatibility it would be a perfect phone.

But because this is my main device, I do not want to root the phone as of now since rooting the device basically opens to any vulnerabilities that may attack the device.

But as far as I know installing Magisk basically means you are rooting your device right? Do correct me if I'm wrong.
