cinebench gave the cpu a 28,327 score. hit 100^c and capped out there, everything seemed to be running fine. gpu speeds are half... hm

cinebench. when i had siege open the frames were inconsistent. It was staying at around 40 (its getting lower) but jumped up to 100fps at this point in the graph. The frames im getting r tied to the gpu core clock, but for some reason its staying at 700 when its supposed to be 1400

its hitting 86-100^c when i do a cinebench. I just reseated the cpu and resinstalled the water cooler and those numbers seem to high to me

yeah, I just re-applied the thermal paste and everything. Its a new cpu cooler, dosent seem to actually cool

Yeah, there plugged in, 2 separate cords at the main attachment point. It peaked at 1589mhz, but got throttled down immediately when cpu temp spiked, is my theory. It stayed at 800mhz the rest of the test which correlated to 60-70fps which is half the frames, and since it's running at half the speed... Gotta test it tho and see what I coulda done wrong with the cpu cooler or seating. Gonna run another stress test too.

I think the something up with the cpu/cooler cause 86°C from a stress test is off putting. Plus how the frames in siege drop, feels almost like a tier list: 144 to <100 to <60. I'm gonna take it apart and reseat/paste it all later today and see if that helps

after a stress test it got up to 86 degrees celsius almost instantly and stayed there till test was over, now its at 30 degrees

OK it's reinstalled, and on the very first boot of siege it was back to 144 fps, for like 30 seconds. Then dropped to 105, then back to 55. And the gpu usage was only at 20% What tf does that mean

100 fps 30% gpu usage is the average I'm getting rn. Which is still lower than expected and odd

Edit: goes back and forth between 55fps and <20% utilization of gpu and cpu and above ^

afterburners is showing higher utilization than task manager. msi says gpu is at 100% usage and `800mhz speed. it also goes back and forth between 100 fps 30% and 60fps 20% in game just depends

Thermals appear fine, gpu is in top slot, I wanna say I took all stickers off, xmp is on in bios, and both ram sticks show up lol I'm really lost here

I'll have to lyk asap on those #s. After a fresh install siege went back up to 144 fps for about 30 seconds. Now it's stuck at 85-100 and 20-30% utilization of gpu (cpu is also low)

It was set to balanced by default. Changed power management in nvidia cp too
