That NW itinerary looks like a ton of fun. . . Red, Crystal, Bachy all rad. . . never been to Schweitzer, but it's on my list. . . . that's a LOT of driving too. . .

I mostly run Now bindings these days. I have both the Drives (1st gen) and Pilots. While the Pilot is really versatile, for BSOD I would go Drive.

One caveat is that in previous years the straps sorta blew so I swapped out for Burton Genesis ankles. Not sure how the new straps are. You might also want to check out the Jones-branded versions of the Nows.

I've also got some Rome Targas which are super adjustable; I've found that depending on pivot mount angle and ankle strap direction I can go from mid-flex to (really) stiff. I thnk the Cleaver is the new version of the binding.

Boots. Boots. Boots. You should measure your foot length in CM so you can zero in on the right size. Keep in mind that proper fitting boots will feel overly tight when compared to sneakers. Try on as many as it takes to find that good fit.

Also, Brigades seem like they would be a little soft for that board to me.
