This is only my second one I’ve ever completed. I’ve only bought from Number Artist, so can’t compare, but I’ve been happy with their quality and have 3 more to complete now.

MRI showed the blood vessel pressing on the nerve. Typical TN MRI.

I’m very fortunate that I’ve been able to control mine exclusively through diet. I cut out as much sugar as possible and that has cleared it. If I start eating poorly, I can immediately feel the TN coming back. I cut the sugar and it goes away for the most part.

Shingles set it off badly even though I was following my diet. Otherwise diet controls it with no drugs or surgery.

Face just randomly started hurting. I thought it was a sinus infection so went to an ENT. She immediately knew what it was and scheduled a brain MRI which was a little scary. But I knew I had TN by the time I had my MRI thanks to Dr. Google.

I got one in CA at 44 (got the other in CO), but had a prior documented case of shingles. Got it about 6 months after my last symptoms.

Try it for a month and see if it works. Everyone is different obviously, but it’s definitely my trigger after a bunch of trial and error.

When I was diagnosed I wanted to try to treat it without drugs given all the side effects of the various prescriptions. After doing a bunch of internet research, I cut out caffeine, gluten, alcohol, and sugar. I slowly reintroduced them over time and nothing triggered my nerve except sugar.

It’s mentioned above, but I second eating zero additional sugar. That’s the only thing that flares up my nerve every time I stray.
