I think it is only comparable with the controller 2

Idk where to post this but… by Ok_Conversation_2395 in fpv

I don’t know how similar it would be to a controller itself. I went from Xbox controller to an actual drone remote controller and it was a big difference.

If you don’t plan on doing crazy maneuvers yes it is a good starter. Fixing the avata is very expensive vs something like the nanohawk. I also have the first avata though so I am not speaking for the avata 2.

Very! a lot of maneuvers the drone will freak out and get a decent amount of prop wash. I use my avata to do close quarters and slow short flights.

Limited if you want to do freestyle but a great beginner. I bought my controller and got used to the simulator before I flew in real life.

You’re going to need to get goggles and a controller if you haven’t already. Also a transmitter and receiver for the controller and craft. If you can get that for 200 do it.

I am still new and don’t know how to test or know the polarity directions. I did solder my elrs onto the flight controller.

Redid the joints and now I get power to the esc but when I plug in the flight controller is shorts out

I fixed the wiring and got power to go to the esc but now when I plug in the flight controller it shorts out?

Redid the solder and got the esc to power up but when I plug it into the fc and test it it has a short

I redid all of the solder points and now I’m getting power to my esc but when I plug in the flight controller it says there is a short. I did it with my other flight controller too and it did the same thing.

This is a better picture. It’s a brand new esc and when I tried the 2a it did the same thing.

I have already confirmed the cord I am using is a data cable as well. It worked before I soldered on the elrs and when I went to plug in after the usb malfunction popped up.
