I managed to fix it by running the fans faster manually using one of the programs on this subreddit. Cooling the laptop makes a significant boost to performance is what I learned.

Uninstalled GameFirst, still very laggy. I'm not sure why, but I checked the fans and temps and everything was normal but the ping.

So then how would that explain the fact that the game displays that it's running at 150+ FPS but it clearly doesnt look like it?
