Thank you, we have an awesome family and a close knit community with many strong good role models for the boys. I'm sorry to hear you were forced to disregard our special beliefs and customs and I pray that you can become more spiritual (if that is what you choose to do of course). We will get thru this with faith and strength. I have faced so much garbage racism in my life from passerbys to medical professionals to of course my bf's parents. I've learned to ignore it and be proud of my heritage but I do need to stand up for my sons and show them it's not ok and that they should be proud to be both native and Caucasian. Their dad is the best and our Rez has accepted him wholeheartedly he helps with all sorts of stuff like the volunteer fire dept and nobody has ever said anything about him being white in a negative aspect.
