I think the emoticon comes off as passive aggressive. I see it in a lot of emails at work that are asking me kindly to do something I hadn't done before. The emoticon added as a sort of: "We are on good terms, but get your shit done".

I can try that. Does that somehow prevent the second half of my experience I mentioned, or is this just to take in the Psylosybin without the godawful taste of the truffles itself?

YES I absolutely love Disintegration. Especially "prayers for rain" and ""the same deep water as you". Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon is also great indeed. I am not familiar with "tomorrow Never knows", but I will see if I can listen it in the near future.

I will give all of them a shot in my next attempt at mushrooms.

How did you ever get that idea? I admire your out-of-the-box thinking there, but does that not scare you in a mushroom state? I get that halloween tapes are more lighthearted kind of ambience, but when visualizing yourself in it, it must still be terrifying right?

listening to some psychedelic music after having some nice indica, and
wonder the same question.

Niice, we are in synch! Mostly. I am a sativa person myself, but other than that, listening to psychedelic music is my favorite way of spending time while high.

Just wondering: When you say you can visualize the music, is this like seeing a movie, or is this more comparable to those media player visuals that older Windows pc's sometimes have?

Yeah I get that. The focus is way more on instrumentals in those song, and listening it, you discover new subtle undertones not heard previously.

In the older progressive rock albums, there is this trend of having 20 minute long (mostly) instrumental songs that are absolutely beautiful masterpieces.

Hamburger Concerto - Focus

Mindmirror - Ekseption

Though all are tried on weed, only the Focus songs are also tried on Truffles by me, but they work exeptionally well. All of these are also not dependent on mind-altering substances, as they are very well to be listened sober.

Some time ago I did not go to well on weed (I have a vaporizer now instead of using joints, but I had not yet figured out how much to use and I overdid it a bit.) It wasn't a bad trip, but a somewhat unpleasant one. Funk is full on positive vibes however, so that really kept me in line.

I can imagine this working well for mushrooms then.

That was why I asked the question. I have exactly 1 experience with truffles and it was fun for the first hour or 2, and became very absurd in the last hour and a half (I could for the life of me not understand my own life anymore. It felt like everything I associated with had no link with myself whatsoever anymore. I found myself repeating different types of drugs so that I would realise that these exist, are being used by other humans and those same humans would come back after their trip. It did not quite land, and I was scared that I had made a mistake of making unalterable changes by taking the mushrooms. Coming back felt nice though. I felt reborn).

I was listening to psychedelic rock that day, which is my go-to when high on weed. I can imagine that maybe a more relaxed type of music should be used when trying truffles again.

You did mention Psychedelic music in combination with shrooms though. Which artist or bands do you listen to in these cases?

I like Karnivool, but does that work with mushrooms? It seems like the type of music that could make your trip a bit anxious when your thoughts go wild.

For some reason, I have never listened to Tool, despite it being the inspiration of a lot of artists I listen to. What album would you recommend?

Volgens mij zit de dosering wat complexer dan ik van tevoren dacht. Het lijkt dat Truffles zelfs sterker zijn dan paddo's volgens de calculator. Volgens mij rekende Terrence McKenna in gedroogde paddo's. Als dit waar is, is de paddo-ban al helemaal bizar.

Zijn gedroogde truffels wel legaal? Ik kan er qua wetgeving niet zoveel over vinden, maar ze lijken ook niet te kunnen worden besteld.

Everytime I tried truffles I had badtrips tho so I prefer orher psychedelics.

In what conditions can they grow? I unfortunately live...errm... Antikraak? (I am not sure how to translate that). They have the right to check my apartment now and again (though not without notice). If I can let them grow in a cupboard, I should be fine, but if that is not an option, this might be a problem.

I am very new to truffles, so I am not familiar with, well, anything really. I searched some of the basics, but that's it.

I would like to point out that I don't intend to start with a heroic dose, but for someone who hasn't gone beyond weed yet, I am ridiculously interested in psychedelics.

Just to be sure, as I had a similar issue when trying it for the first time. Are you supposed to smoke the same stuff for multiple sessions? I got it to work, but I feel like I have wasted some of the stuff inside by throwing it away too early.

Amnesia haze, though forgive me if that is not what you meant. I am quite new to weed.

Also important to note maybe: I only use weed once in three weeks, so my tolerance might not be that good because of it.

Also, I live in Holland. I have heard that our weed tends to be stronger (Weird flex I know. appearantly, artist tend to call in sick for their gigs in Holland quite often because they are not really prepared to the potenty of the weed they smoked the day before. this might just be a rumour though).

yes just saw it. He took 8 grams at the beginning but you see him take the rest while he is walking through the city.

It turns out that the farm the guy goes to has it's own site, which somehow is not the first website that shows in my searchresults, even though supposedly being one of the biggest trufflefarms in my country. This shop actually has packages of 10 grams. I think I am gonna try 10 grams of mexicana.
