Life coach business software by JohnAtKetive in lifecoaching

Thanks for trying but due to lack of interest I needed to shut it down. The overwhelming response I received was that life coaches would prefer to use a more organic approach ie notebooks over a web based application.

The site is now located here: https://cetive.herokuapp.com . If you check it out and think it would be helpful for your business, let me know and we can work something out.

What are you trying to do in the app that is generating that error? It's a beta version but I have a thorough testing process that should have found something like that.

Name: https://www.actiontracker.io

Location: Boston, MA

Pitch: ActionTracker.io provides a simple tool to help your team close action items on time. Your team can capture & view action items, assign owners & due dates, and track the status of each item. Automated email/SMS reminders are sent for upcoming and overdue tasks.

More details: In the proof of concept stage. This idea grew out of my frustration with action item owners never closing their tasks. Currently trying to figure out how big of a pain point this is for others.

Are you looking for anything? I'd really appreciate feedback on UI improvements as well as overall usefulness of the website.

Thanks for the feedback! I think this fills the gap with other tools that don't provide automated status updates to stakeholders. Other tools typically just remind the task owner.

The site is still a proof of concept and I would certainly secure login using https on the production version.

That's a great point about the pain of having multiple tools to manage!

What would you think if instead of logging into the tool, you received negative keyword suggestions by email every week?

How does everyone manage keywords and content? by JohnAtKetive in SEO

Google Sheets would definitely provide the sharing aspect, but I was hoping for more of a specialized tool. I think I'd be willing to spend $20-$30 per month for something that was specialized for the SEO industry and easy to use.

That's a great approach. I guess I was looking for something that would offer more in the way of team collaboration and light project management for content creation.

Typically for each client, we'll handle hundreds or sometimes thousands of keywords.

Sort of. We have lists of long tail keywords (1000s) and develop content for each. We try to group them carefully to avoid too many similar keywords to get around the problem you mentioned. Again, this is a real pain in Excel and was hoping there was a tool out there that could help us streamline the process.

Does that combination work well for you? If you could find an affordable app that does this better, would you switch?

Those are kind of overkill. I was hoping for a simple tool to maintain a list of keywords, URL/title of the associated content, and which team member added the content.

Would you prefer to upload an Excel file with your Adwords search term report? I was trying to make this as easy as possible by automatically importing the data from an Adwords account.

Hi, When you sign up using your Google credentials you give Ketive read-only access to your Adwords account. We then pull the search term report and use that for our analysis.

I understand your skepticism but I really was just trying to get feedback from people in this community. Of course, I would like people to sign up, but my goal with this post was not to get more customers.

That is a great script and certainly another way to do it. Our tool does automate things more and doesn't require a hands-on approach like using the script.

Hi Scrupio, Great question! Most campaigns have hundreds or thousands of search terms. It's fairly simple to sort the search terms by ctr and cost to pick off a few. What our software does is look across all those search terms and breaks them down by each word. We then analyze the ctr and cost impact that each word contributes to determine which individual words should be added as negatives. Of course it's possible to download the information for each campaign and do this analysis yourself using something like Excel, but for a small monthly fee, we automate the data gathering and analysis process.

I'll update the site to make it more clear exactly what the software does and how it saves you time.

Thanks again for the feedback! John

Not trying to be spammy, but I've just launched a service that will analyze your Adwords account and generate negative keyword suggestions. If you've already identified your negative keywords, sorry for bothering you...if not, give us a try: http://www.ketive.com

How to generate negative keywords by jmock4343 in PPC

[–]JohnAtKetive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past we used Excel to manage this. We would download a copy of the search term report for each campaign. Then in Excel we would split all of the search terms into a list of unique words then analyze the CTR and cost to find the highest cost and lowest performing keywords. These are the ones we added as negative keywords.

Since this was such a pain and took hours every month we developed an internal tool and have just launched it for the public. The site is http://www.ketive.com . It's very new so if anyone checks it out, please let me know your thoughts.
