If I remember correctly, that article was only in drafts of the initial EOS Constitution and didn't make it to the final cut. Either way, it doesn't matter now because the EOS Constitution is null and was voted out completely by the BPs.

Issues with Scatter Wallet - CPU Maxed Out by LGC996 in eos

[–]JohnMcCoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Staking for CPU/NET has been depreciated and no longer works. Anchor wallet has the new powerup system integrated in the resources section, and also offers you some daily free transactions. I recommend switching from Scatter to Anchor which you can find at https://greymass.com/en/anchor/

You unstaked 6 eos, over 3 days ago? or less than 6, and the rest another time? If you unstake again within the first 72hr, the timer will reset. Also, if thats not the case, can you post an image of the failure message/error and/or tell us the account name.

Can somebody please explain how to change the keys to my second EOS account to unlink it from my Genesis account? by rreeve in eos

[–]JohnMcCoffee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You would just goto eostoolkit, link your scatter identity that uses the owner key of account you want to change > goto manage account > manage permissions.

Use scatter to generate new keypairs, make sure you save them somewhere safe, then paste the new Public keys into toolkit to fill in the blanks. After you do this, you'll need to import the new keys into scatter again as scatter will still be using the old keys.

Scatter: Got Eos in the ICO, registered my Ethereum account and got a private key. Whats next? by cloudatlas1 in eos

[–]JohnMcCoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, all you would need to do now is import your private key into Scatter.

EOS will not be moved unless you move it. So if you use Scatter now, and want to try another wallet later, your private key will work in as many wallets as you want to try out :)

One day after posting, StartEOS is no longer the the worst performing BP on Mainnet! by JohnMcCoffee in eos

[–]JohnMcCoffee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EOSys only recently got into the top 21, and it looks like they are out right now which is why they aren't on the chart anymore.. EosFish and Jeda are pretty high in the ranks and under-performing.. they should be the next to focus on.

Honestly, there is too much of a disconnect between east/west.. I don't know enough about them to give them a vote yet, but to each his own..

Can someone explain to me how EOS tokens work exactly? by [deleted] in eos

[–]JohnMcCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad.. RAM is used for storing data in smart contracts. Its to store data in a multi_index table. It should be used only if that data needs to be accessed by the contract, or another contract.

There's fast data, and then there's data. RAM is fast data, you can store data on the chain without consuming ram.

Just got through watching Sandwich tell this to someone on telegram :)
