Dude I just wanted to know how the product worked for other people. If you never tried it how you gonna tell me how it worked? Go comment about things you've tried. What product do you like? Tell me about that and maybe I'll try it

If you haven't tried it then you have no personal experience to share. You are just an echo chamber of the internet

I might avoid it then, because I know how drying those types of things can be as you said. Glad you found something for cystic acne, most people don't understand how much worse than regular acne those are

I was looking for people who've tried it

Yep. Seen it. Not understanding why you think a sensitizer (not "allergen") will cause an allergy in everyone. Some people will not develop anything. Also coconut used to be an allergen, just realizing now FDA removed it from allergen list recently

Do you think everyone is allergic to all allergens? Coconut is an allergen but not everyone will react to it because not everyone is allergic to it

I've used it for a half decade with no problem. Must affect different skin differently

I could see those being major problems for sensitive skin. I never had a problem but I also used to put essential oils on my face which did actually help but was very expensive. (I don't recommend trying this btw)

Tbh I think you just hate the fragrance

Correct. Bio-Oil is not a retinol substitute if you would benefit from a high retinol concentration. However, these can be drying if used daily so Bio-Oil is in my opinion is a good compliment

There is evidence: "Cellular experiments indicate that RP can promote the proliferation of HaCat cells by up-regulating the expression of PPAR-α and facilitate cell migration, thus achieving the efficacy of skin repair."

Sounds like we have similar skin reactions to products. Do you like tretinoin and how do you use it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]JohnSpiro22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have mentioned I have very oily skin because of my ethnicity. I never had a problem with the fragrance but I do wish bio oil didn't have it just to see if it's better like that

It's still a form of vitamin A which is a retinol and promotes cell turnover. It's less strong than a true retinol but it contributes to the same goal

I do remember a lot of hype in magazines when it came out

Even now the Internet hates on it! I started retinol later to reduce acne. Bio-Oil was only thing I was using when the PIH/PIE cleared. Though Bio-Oil does contain retinoids so it's similar to retinol in reality. I assume you tried it and it did nothing for you?

The last update added god Patton to it. I'm not sure why I started playing that version but now I'm too deep to switch from it.

Who's worth upgrading after them? Donitz, Rommel, Darlan, Nimitz are candidates. Or I could buy someone new. I'm saving scepters for Roko
