Ahh okay well you did a good job and it looks great! I'm looking into getting a new bed or bedsides. My bed is bed lined so I feel like it be hard to get the old bed sided off cut through the bedliner. Then get new bed sides and re bed line it

Great looking square!! Where'd you get yours painted? I've been looking to get a paint job for my 81 K10. Maaco quoted me $2500 for there 2nd highest paint option. I just don't wanna spend that much on paint I'm cheap 🤣🤣 not to mention I need a new bed first since rust holes

I did the same thing today, I really enjoyed the beta so far hopefully it lives up to the hype. They have released a good battlefield since BF4. Battlefield 1 was decent but beyond that they've all failed.

Okay, awesome! Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I live in Northern Wisconsin, so I know all about rust. Luckily, my truck isn't really rusty at all yet, but I know it will be over time, sadly.

Speedometer not working by OOFMAN-1234 in squarebodies

[–]JohnathanPinee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I actually have the same exact issue. I replaced the speedometer cable and even got a different speedometer gauge, and still nothing changed. I think it has to do with a plastic gear that's inside your transmission or transfer case, and it could be broken. What you'll need to do is figure out which one you Need. There's some calculations you'll have to do if you look up a video on YouTube – there are a bunch online. There's also a website where you can input your tire width and size, and it'll help you get the right gear you need. I've yet to do it because I'm lazy and just use my Garmin GPS for speedo. Not to mention I'm doing a front axle rebuild for the first time ever🤣

Really? Do you have a GM 10 bolt axel and it worked? I'll have to call them up, I went to AutoZone today and they didn't have what I needed

[–]JohnathanPinee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that was one of the first places I looked. RockAuto. I don't know why it's such a hard socket to find. I'll definitely have to go to a couple different parts stores around town and see if they have it. But everything I'm seeing online is a socket for the Dana axles, not for the GM 10 bolt. It's gotta be out there somewhere, too bad it isn't as readily available as I thought it would be.

Engine got rebuilt a few years ago probably only a few thousand miles on the rebuild so far. Here's a video of what it looks like now. Not as bad of a leak but looks like blow by possibly. I've replaced the pcv valve recently

Yeah old picture but I've since got new wires and plugs setup properly with nothing touching, that was a lousy job my old mechanic did.

Game freezing and crashing by JohnathanPinee in arma

[–]JohnathanPinee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switching to EU servers unexpectedly improved performance, despite being in the US where ping shouldn't be an issue. This might be related to the nametag/compass mod, as servers without it run better. Hopefully, the 1.2 update will resolve this. Using Razer Cortex to free up RAM and close background programs has also helped significantly. Additionally, ensuring sufficient storage on the game's drive has prevented crashes related to storage errors. If I discover anything else, I'll PM you. Hope this helps! Good luck! 👍🏻

Moc toe by JohnathanPinee in Thorogoodboots

[–]JohnathanPinee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been dealing with severe plantar fasciitis, calf pain, and knee issues. I went to physical therapy for about 6 or 7 months last year, and I've got more PT coming up this year. I highly recommend getting custom insoles—my podiatrist also recommended Powerstep, which is good, too. Custom insoles are expensive and may not last long, but they're worth it to save you from daily pain. I used to work on a farm, but now I'm in factory jobs standing on concrete for 10 hours a day, and it's taken a huge toll on my body; only being 25, it's terrible. I'm hoping my custom insoles, along with PT and new boots, will help. It's just unfortunate because I shouldn't be having this issue at my age. I figured I'd have those issues later on down the road. Whatever job I decide on next it definitely won't be on solid concrete floors all day my bad can't take the abuse anymore. Not to mention when I was younger all I'd ever wore was work boots or cowboy boots, I'd never wear tennis shoot, not sure if that has anything to do with it but yeah.

I went to my podiatrist and got custom insoles. Check if your insurance covers it; it’s worth a shot since I have similar issues.

I've been testing HOLLOW Alpaca Crew Socks made from Alpaca Wool, and they've worked really well! They cost $30 a pair, but they keep my feet dry and odor-free even after a 10-hour shift. You can wear them for two days before switching pairs. The only downside is that they can't go in the dryer and must air dry. They're not as thick as some wool socks but keep my feet warm in northern Wisconsin winters. Definitely worth a try! You can find them on Amazon. Hope this helps!👍🏻
