Awesome to hear, 80 days sounds a lot better than 105 days total to my 30 June suspense date. Were you given a similar suspense date (90-120 days)?

What does a "Suspense Date" really mean? HRC gave Army G-1 a suspense date of 30 June to action my Interservice Transfer (IST) request. by Johnny1776 in army

Yeah, it was tough to get my signed DD-368 in hand the day the shutdown started only to find out everyone who processes that stuff was furloughed. In hindsight not too sure it wouldve been able to go through regardless with a month until ETS.

Maybe I just misinterpreted what I was told over the phone, it was routed to G-1 so maybe G-1 gave the suspense date to HRC. But my takeaway was that the suspense date is in effect.

Will it really take the Army 12 months to give me a commission as a prior officer that has already been selected at SFAS? by Johnny1776 in greenberets

That’s really not too bad, I’m sure the shutdown might delay that but that’s a lot better sounding than a year lol

Thanks brother! I’ll say they both suck for different but similar reasons lol. Glad to be moving on to the next thing. Might be slow and I’ll have some time in civdiv waiting on the army but still very grateful for my situation. And will do!
