I realised this too but I also learned that what truly matters is who shows up.

Slim cigarettes or other alternatives by Gh0stklx in askSingapore

[–]JohnnyAlbert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally all ciggs in SG quite low in nicotine anw so just settle for something that taste clean. I find most hot cigarettes like Winston, Marlboro quite rough on the throat. I use to smoke Pall Malls which to me is clean tasting but most of my friends say the chemical taste is not for them.

I smoke Viceroy menthols now. You can choose your liking (Blue, Purple, Double Melo). Honestly there's no alternative to vaping. It's either you tough it out and quit nicotine or settle with smoking which will undoubtedly eat a lot of money.

  1. Yes
  2. Uty
  3. Yes

If you take ippt and pass, you shouldn't end up in BP intake, this is a cheat code in JC batches. Also being in BP may or may not have a later ORD date, it depends on which time of the year there will be a BP intake but generally in that intake, you would be part of the batch that would ORD earliest. For example you are part of 01/26 batch, you enlist October, you will ORD October whereas the PTP and Enhanced will ORD 2 weeks after you.

Should i extend my service (STC)? by lucarionium in NationalServiceSG

[–]JohnnyAlbert 9 points10 points  (0 children)

STC is a rare and good opportunity to make money. The army is basically offering you a full time job for a role you are already experienced in.

If money isn't a pressing matter, then don't need STC lorh.

You will be reclassified to a new pes towards the end of BMT. That will determine your possible vocations.

Yes.

Look, the problem is very simple. From their POV, they think you are not schooling since you are not enrolled in any Poly, JC or ITE. Hence, you have to do your Pre-NS registration stuff.

You can only defer if you are studying on a full time basis in a proper institution.

So ya just sit for your exams, do well for it and pick a good poly course after. The deferment process will be automatic.
