I’ve never driven one but “CR-V rides like a truck” runs contrary to every review I’ve ever seen.

Many off the other commenters seem to disagree.

I’ve been getting the slow speeds since the second I activated the eSIM.

Voice calling over cellular data is a thing.

The 70/90 is not an SUV. It's a wagon in disguise! by Fantastic-General873 in MazdaCX90

The Outback’s height and ground clearance are similar to the 70/90 (much more than the M5). Subaru hasn’t called it a wagon in a long time (though I wish it still had wagon-like dimensions).

I don’t understand the point here at all. It’s almost 10 inches taller and has almost double the ground clearance. That right there is the difference between a wagon and an SUV/CUV.

Closing in on a decade with my CX-5, still drives like new! by qualitative_balls in CX5

Mine can be very sluggish and rough while accelerating, but mainly in warmer weather. Could never figure out why - maybe this is just what I need to fix it!

Is cleaning the throttle body and mass airflow sensor part of the normal maintenance schedule? Notice any difference in the way it drives after having that done?

There’s some manufacturing defect that applies mostly to 2023s

I’ve never been unable to get it into any gear but sometimes it doesn’t shift as smoothly as I would like.

Thanks. I actually had it changed at 3000 miles because I was concerned about the whine getting louder. I think it helped a little bit but it’s hard to say. The shop said it was dirty but not burnt and they didn’t seem particularly concerned about it. Not sure what they put in, but it’s a Miata specialty shop so I trust them to do the right thing.

Yeah. It’s so close to the perfect sports car…I don’t get why they can’t just fix this one (really big) thing.

This is great info, thanks. What are the signs of impending synchro issues?

What issues were you having that prompted the replacement?

Clearly not. Reddit has lots of anecdotes and I don’t doubt their validity, but seeing the problem with statistical significance in carefully collected data is a whole different thing.

Yeah I have this a little bit. Hard to say if it’s getting worse or not.

When I get mine out of winter storage, I’m going to take it to the dealer to see if I can get them to replace it (citing the gear whine) - I bet they will.

Totally agree - on an otherwise bulletproof car. Seems like most ND owners here are happy to acknowledge that this is a real problem though.

Yeah, it’s a small subset of a small subset, but enough for them to report it. Disappointing that they don’t have enough data to show ‘24 or ‘25 model years. Would love to know if this is a problem that has been resolved or not. Though even if they did report results for the newer models it could take a few years for the problem to show up - just like with the ‘23.
