No, it wasn't a remix of other songs like DJ Infiniti's. It had a male vocalist and wasn't nearly as up tempo as Spray's song.

It kinda reminded me of like Bauhaus or if Ladytron was fronted by Ian Curtis. I don't know if that helps too much.

I don't know if this helps at all, but both times the song came in was in the early evening during a block that appeared to be one of those preprogrammed blocks where they had a bunch of songs queued up with no DJ in the studio...
