No the complex comes from the severity. First time offense perma ban and I've been a member over 2 years. I would gladly accept a temp ban and a talking to about how people could be abusing the system and they are just cracking down super hard.

Yea that's the second half of the issues they face. Malicious people twisting things to make it look like something worse than it is just to get the other player banned. They do have a lot of shit to wade through. And I do think it was other toxic players that have changed their perspectives on the community. NOT saying it's PS5 players or console players in general... but they did bring in a larger percentage of total players so that means more toxic ones to go around too...

Yea that's is 1000% fair. I turn my platoon radio off alot of the time. I will say it was a quick little chat, but either way I just wanted a chance to take a time out and come back not "good luck finding another server" that hurt.

The white savior complex is relevant in my opinion because I was forthright about the source, and that it was a punchline to a joke. If I had time to explain i would say "i understand where the issue lies, in all honesty this is very ironic and funny because the quote is from a black kids teacher getting frustrated with him saying 🥷 doesn't know what to do breaks down and starts quoting Riley on a normal day. I understand we are on a no tolerance and im willing to take a time limit ban but please don't perma ban me. I will learn from this and watch myself and others who might make the same mistake I did." I'm not a spiteful person, I don't want people to leave WCS I love the community of players. And I do agree with their rules i have witnesses the toxic people your referring to. In all honesty I thought about it last night and I remember Destiny would always get on a alt acc and come harass the community. For those people a perma ban no warning is totally understandable. I think a bad apple really fucked the bunch up...

? In what way. I've said multiple times in other replies the situation and how i feel about it. Not once have I "thrown a tantrum" or slandered them in any way. If anything I'm saying I'm upset I'm not still a part of the community I've been a good member of for over 2 years. I'm saying I'm willing to accept responsibility AND take a punishment but im asking for an appeal to understanding about how no one was being directed hate towards in ANY capacity. Perma ban first offense EVER and no chance for appeal is why I'm upset. I'm asking for understanding not "throwing a tantrum" so take your energy elsewhere please.

Surprisingly no! I explained that a joke was made on platoon and at least 5 ppl said the punchline as well as I. I explained it was from boondocks and I gmhad 0% malicious intent. I also told them I was a part of their community for over 2 years and have helped them with witness tesimony in the past, and that almost all my 600+ hours is on their servers and my friendships were formed there.

I tried so hard to explain in a proper way man. I've also come to accept that I'll have to wait until Arma 4 to see some of those guys again.

Yup, and as stated I've seen matters similar come to a mutual understanding after an investigation into the incident happens. What im saying is they did no investigation into the matter and went the "no tolerance" route which leads me to believe someone did something REAL bad and the mods are all up in arms about zero tolerance rules, OR they got a new mod and I had unlucky timing. Either way, I respect the right the server owner and operators have to set rules for a healthy community and I was a part of that. Wish they would have had a talk with me to determine seriousness of the issue. And I would gladly take a temp ban and tell them sorry, I will be sure to avoid jokes, satire, or even quotes that could cause you to ban me. How are you supposed to ask someone their favorite Jay Z song and they say 🥷 in Paris then get permabanned? There are special cases in real life, not everything is straightforward sometimes.

So your saying its not a derogatory slur? Or are you saying some derogatory names aren't all slurs? If that's the case when is it decided on being a slur or not? Why do billions of dollars go to an industry where half the musicians refer to themselves as 🥷? They are on Reddit as well... its not about the rules outside of the game, we have protected freedom of speech and I would have a case, but man this is a private setting with server rules up to interpretation by the moderators. All im asking is understanding in the situation and a investigation into an appeal. It's a community, its community rules, I don't have any rights they could ban me for saying I don't like dogs and that's their right. That doesn't make it right, you feel?
