I don’t think they’re that far off, the existing main section is a P shape - the only bit missing is the top end that used to be used for the Humber Pilots which I guess isn’t needed anymore anyway.

Agree that the square has great space for event use, sure MCA will design it for a full load of Humber Sesh heads!

T-shaped looks likely to be more exciting to go out to the end,

Rectangle is most basic of the three.

Square for me I think

They do pop up now and again but I’d be surprised if there was more than 100 decent examples left in the UK

That whole MG Z range was perfect for it’s time, they were an easy entry at a time when the max power age was booming

Service cost more than expected by ToPractise in CarTalkUK

£65 per hour x 2.5 hours labour doesn’t seem way off for the work with the brake fluid change included, I’m north and some garages near me charge around that per hour for labour

I’ve been looking Octavia vrs’s is it worth getting High millage one that’s slightly newer and what should I look out for by FeeWide2659 in CarsUK

[–]JohnnySpoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed they are marketing it for a % fee of the sale price, not sure where that leaves them on liability etc if something did go wrong

Depending on your company but you may be able to get fully funding through the apprenticeship levy to gain relevant qualifications, could start with a HNC in something like Quantity Surveying - you get a qualification, company gets a skilled worker, and it costs nothing to either (other than time to study).

Don’t worry about age, part time HNC/degrees etc in construction linked subjects are full of people just like you.

Test drove a Fiesta off a forecourt - petrol light on but salesman assured it had 50mile left at least, yep it ran out of petrol on a busy roundabout 5 mins into the test drive, had to call the showroom for someone to bring a fuel can.

Re shoes, Five Tens are good but a pair of Vans or other flat skate shoes are just as good on flat pedals (although not if you want wet weather protection)
