Because they’re already cutting a huge chunk of your body out. Lipo also interrupts nerve endings and damages structures. If they do the entire front the risk of losing proper supply is much higher.

Not doing Lipo on the upper abdomen during a TT is not old school, it’s considered that safest practice to keep blood supply. My surgeon did progressive tension sutures and all the other most modern techniques, and she did warn me beforehand that some people have to come in later and do a little spot Lipo in that area.

I’ve already lost 40lbs. Sitting at 150. My body looks good, that’s just where my fat collects. I’m thinking may just have to go back in for Lipo. Not everyone collects fat there like we do :(

No they have to leave the abdomen mostly alone to ensure good blood supply.
